Is this clear/opaque. Previous purchase was patterned with multi coloured spots. Description does not state. I am after the opaque/clear version.

My last one was coloured. The previous one was opaque. It’s probably the luck of the draw. Why not query it with the manufacturers

Can this be used to waterproof a microphone?

I would think so but it's not as flexible as cling film but it will stick to itself. Hope that helps.

I wouldn’t recommend reuse of used piece

Is this the same as cling film in the uk? Or more like a transfer seal/sticky backed plastic?

It is a thicker yet more flexible and user friendly version of cling film. I use it around my stoma bag in the shower having seen a recommendation on a colostomy website. So it moulds round things and you press it down to stick keeping out water. There is 70 feet so it does go a long way. It then just peels off easily.
