I recently upgraded my movie collection by adding over 300 4k Blu ray discs. Out of all those discs, eight refused to play. I buffed them thoroughly with a microfiber towel and examined them under a lighted magnifying glass - they appeared flawless but still refused to play without corruption.As a last resort, I cleaned all eight with this cleaning solution. Six of the eight played just fine! The other two I returned to Amazon for a new disc of the same title.Although it does seems very pricey for how much you get, it worked and saved me the hassle of having to return another six discs!

Used exclusively on CDs so far to clean dust, smudges, and stickiness. It sprays evenly and the gets the goo off. I’ve gotten clean rips after using it, with no fuss. It’s a good size and should be enough to clean a decent size media collection, unless you are dipping your CDs & DVDs in syrup or something.Of course it doesn’t fix scratches, but in my experience a good cleaning can help the laser + software overcome some scratches, especially when using a ripper that makes multiple passes to resolve a problem area on the disk.

For something you could probably make at home these cleaning fluids tend to run pretty expensive. I found this maker to have released the best price for the quantity, without a loss in quality. In other words I cleaned some discs and it got the job done. One disc was especially disgusting. This fluid will not leave scratches if you make sure nothing brittle is on the surface. Also make sure to use a microfiber cloth.

My dvd was skipping and freezing. Perfectly useful now after using this product.

Used this with Allsop CD and DVD Fast Wipes to clean about 175 CD's primarily self made after buying a used 400 Disc Changer to use with my 25 year collection of 200 + CD's many have been handled fairly roughly and many just nasty from handling . Saw a significant increase in the number that previously stuck or had reading errors that now play fine although I have not played all 175 I cleaned to date- Love my CD's Jacksonville Boy Who loves his ancient Home Town Bands of Lynerd Skynard ,Molly Hatchet ,38 Special ,Blackfoot etc. A bygone era old folks music , still love to Jam to with my Les Paul and Strat
