The video shows how it works - but Check for the secret valve!
The media could not be loaded. I fitted this in a small workshop toilet: easy job to mount the plastic cistern. Works a treat and saves water. The diagram instructions are not comprehensive- at first I though that the automated tap wasn’t working or that I didn’t have enough water pressure, but on closer examination there is a little red valve beside the syphon which adjusts the flow.Tap is cold only, of course, so I have fitted an electric hand wash above- any excess wash water goes down the overflow into the pan if cistern is full.A good product for a tight space : plastic but tough and shiny.

Really good small space solution
This is a really great option if you are limited for space, or the water supply and waste for a separate sink would be a real pain to do. I would give 5 stars except for two things that I think could have been designed better.1. The water supply inlet only has the option to be intalled on one side of the cistern.2. The flush downpipe is a fixed length. There is another piece if pipe to make it longer, but you cant make it shorter due to the moulded fittings at each end. I actually wanted to mount the cistern lower down but was unable to due to this.Other than those two points, it works well and im happy with it.

Ideal for Small Spaces
Item suits well in a small cloakroom with only a cold water supply. Particularly good for a non close coupled toilet as no need to change the pan. Looks stylish, works well and attracts compliments from visitors. Only downside is that it is made of plastic not ceramic.

Excellent product. Well made and looks very neat
Excellent product. Well made and looks very neat. Flush and sink very efficient although I have had to remind family not to put things down in the sink! Installation not quite as simple as they make out in the instructions but still able to be done on a DIY basis without too much difficulty

Pay a little more and get another one
It is made of cheap plastic yet doesn't even have a mixer tap, which is pictured on site. No washers either. We could not get it installed. Asked for a refund 2 weeks ago and still have not received any reply, no authorisation for return /refund either.

Cistern won't shut off
This cistern was a convenient solution for installation in a toilet cubicle which did not have enough space for a standard wash basin. However it has been unsatisfactory recently because on a number of occasions it has refused to stop flushing. Presumably the water shut-off valve has jammed. In a couple of instances the cistern has flushed for several hours before the fault had been noticed leading to considerable wastage of water and additional expense. If this fault cannot be remedied I will have the cistern replaced.

Good quality
Very impressed, reading some reviews I was under the impression that the cistern refilled via the basin alone and was resigned to a long wait to flush again, but no it refills directly with some water bypassed for the tap. Very clever and excellent quality. Next project it to fit an inline electric heater on a 30 (ish) second timer, long enough for a handwash but save on power.

"LOVE IT !" ... but beware
My original ... so positive ... feedback comment of August 2017 (having newly fitted this cistern) ended with the sentence, "Now just looking forward to longevity of the (unusual for the UK) internal plumbing".Here we are in November 2020 and the rubber diaphragm employed in the fill valve has understandably degraded to the point where water is now leaking into the bowl. Sadly, Grandesys is apparently "unable" to supply anything but a complete fill valve assembly (their policy I guess ... their economics). This disappoints me greatly so I can no longer recommend this as an "eco / environmentally" friendly product .Grandesys still currently state in their marketing that purchasing their product, "... does not only make sense in an ecological way but also for YOUR bank account". Ecological ? Well, I hope mother earth can cope with all those rejected intricate plastic fill valves. MY Bank Account benefit ? The best part of £40 for a fill valve ? ...... No, good only for Grandesys' bank account only. Our proud hard working Victorian engineers would not believe how professional folk now seem to rely excessively on marketing words rather than using honest innovative design prowess to achieve a contemporary premium product. Many companies I fear now simply hitch a ride on the dream of honest groups that are genuinely attempting to lead humankind to a sustainable future for this planet.A DISAPPOINTED & SADDENED earth inhabitant.
