I cannot say enough good things about this mini split. Easy install, great quality, very good price. It has all the features of the higher priced units and appears to skimp on nothing. I am truly impressed and this may be one of the best purchases I have made in quite a while. I am ordering another bigger unit for another part of my house. This is a big thumbs up in all regards except one....the instructions. And not all the instructions, when it comes to charging the unit for startup. They jump from hooking the unit to power and connecting the copper lines to operation and miss the step about testing for leaks. If you go to YouTube there are a bunch of HVAC people who make it look WAY harder than it is so you will call them up and pay $1000 for them to do this very easy thing. Go deep on YouTube and find a video of a homeowner or non-professional doing the vacuum testing and it will get you to the finish line. You will need to but the manifold guage (or borrow one from a friend) and pump to do the last step but at worst you are looking at $100 to buy the kit on Amazon. I bought one that allows me to charge the AC system on cars too so I will make use of it again down the road. Overall this is a terrific unit, heating and cooling like a champ, many features, quiet and reliable. ****UPDATE***** It's been two years since buying and installing this mini split and it works as well as the day I got it up and running. It keeps chugging along in hot or cold weather keeping folks comfy. I bought another ROVSUN unit about a year ago for the garage. The newer model is 21 Seer and I got the 12.000 btu model. The same story with that one; easy install, well made product, great price.

Absolutely WONDERFUL unit. Although it is ready to you, you have to get someone to charge it. We use it every day. The back of our house is really cold but in the winter it's great to have this turned to heat. It's not loud at all. My husband poured a small concrete pad outside our bedroom for it to sit and then the wall unit part is near our ceiling in the bedroom. I balked at it at first cause I thought it looked stupid but I love it now that I see what it does. Worth EVERY penny you pay. Other places charge $1200 for a unit like this. Do your google searches then come back for this one.

I use this in my bedroom & bathroom it works good on cold haven’t tryed warm yet.

We purchased this for a new office. We can’t return because we are past the 30 days even though the unit wasn’t installed and used until recently……within 30 days. Since installation and use, we have noticed our brand new room has mold on the walls. The air is damp and no matter what temperature or setting we try it doesn’t make a difference. We have contacted the company and their response was to make sure all windows and doors are closed when running the unit. The room doesn’t have any windows and we would never run the a/c and leave a door open to the outside! We checked the weather stripping along the door and made sure when office is dark there is no light coming through. So we know there is no outside air coming in from the door. This problem not only has caused us to have to wipe mold off the walls, but we now will have to repaint and replace a brand new sink vanity due to warped wood. The drawer is very hard to open now. We just bought a dehumidifier yesterday and it’s pulling a lot of water! We also made sure we bought correct size unit for room size. I’m beyond frustrated and very u happy with this purchase. At this point since the company is refusing to help, we will have to buy another unit obviously with a different manufacturer and eat the cost of this one. Save your money and do not buy.

Installing the unit was straightforward & instructions are very clear. I am handy with most repairs, this was my 1st mini split install, followed the instruction (even bought & used a vacuum pump). Very happy with outcome, cools 3 car garage quickly even in Oklahoma summer weather of 110 heat index of 120. Very quite (outside unit close to my front porch and can't even hear it or feel it, just see the leaves on the bushes by it move. So happy I will be buying 3 more for other uses.

I've purchased at least 6 of these over the course of a year, 2 different size units. I cannot complain about them, so far so good.

Easy install and works great. Read some reviews where people were upset they had to get a vacuum pump and use it. People need to research what they are buying. And 120 bucks for a pump vs what an ac tech would charge for the install. Just get the pump. It’s an easy process to use it. Instructions are clear or there are several YouTube vids out there. Easy power requirements as well. Only need 120v 20a. Once installed start up was simply turning it on. And cold air come out!! And quiet. Barely hear the inside air handler. Cannot hear the outside condenser. Way way quieter then a normal ac condenser Couldn’t be happier. Especially for the price point. Just need to see how reliable it is over time. Will review again after one summer in south Florida. One thing I didn’t like was the tape it came with. So just bought some better tape with adhesive to wrap the line set. Other than that saved hundreds on what an ac company quoted. They quoted a durastar for 2800 installed. I have less than 600 in this one. A friend has the durastar and so far don’t see a difference. Live in a manufactured home in Florida. Last three years hurricane flooding destroyed the under house ducting.have Replaced that twice at 2000 a pop. The duct pretty much sits on the ground under the home. No room to raise it. Last time just ripped it out and put window units in. Obviously loud units. Replaced a bedroom window with this. If this lasts like I am hoping will buy more next spring and replace all window units. And already have a pump lol. And mounted these high up on the outside so any flooding is not a concern. At least for the ac.

I purchased this unit to replace a window AC/Heater. . The window A/C was loud and expensive to operate. I was concerned that the ROVSUN 9000 btu 115 volt might be too large for the area. But it does an excellent job of cooling and heating the space. I purchased it during the summer of 2024 and now we are into winter and it is doing a great job of keeping the specific area in perfect temperature balance. The system is virtually silent. I cannot tell that it is running. The inside condenser/blower system is stylish, but looks a little large on the wall, not so much that it is a problem. I have detected no problems in moisture, or condensation when it is running with the outside temperature at 90+ degrees and 70% humidity. We live in Florida and the summers can be brutal. It also has reduced the cost of electricity by almost half for this area.I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I hired a professional installer to put in the unit. I was with him the entire time and the installation looked straightforward and easy. The installation requires some specialty equipment. A vacuum pump, gauges, etc. Items that are not normally found in a home tool kit. But if I had had the specific items and the correct training, while I pride myself on being very handy at building and installing things, I think using a professional to install this unit was the right choice. My hope is that this unit will last many years and continue to doing a great job.
