71 Beast
love this for making mead/wine. It is a very reliable quality and produces predictable results. Good alcohol tolerance too. it may seem more expensive than other brands it does work out quite cost effective as I’ve never had a bad batch using this yeast. My preferred yeast for wine/mead making adventures

Great for homebrewing wine or mead.
This is my choice of yeast for mead and wine. Ive brewed basic mead, fruit meads and wines, this often helps bring out bright flavours. I think I'll buy some more as its so easy to use and provides fairly quick and high quality results.

71"Beast" is exactly what they are!
Bought this strain of yeast after watching a youtube channel on homebrewing (City Steading Brews), as I had originally been using EC1118, and fancied giving another yeast a try. Let me say that in my particular environment, with the brew I have been doing they have been MORE than effective. Using this yeast I had my first blowout of an airlock, and actually had to switch to a blowoff tube. They started fermenting almost twice as fast as EC1118.

Doing its business in a big bucket in the greenhouse
Good value, and it's definitely turning apple sugar water into wine. Not a miracle, the expected action of yeast. I'll see what it tastes like in the new year.

Great cider yeast.
I make a lot of cider, usually over a thousand litres annually. This is my go to yeast as most of my apples are eating apples with a fair portion of Bramley cooking apples mixed in. This gives the juice a higher than optimal pH. This yeast helps reduce the acidity, it has always fermented well and seeyto continue working in colder than perfect conditions, given that it does slow it's activity during colder months, but it doesn't stop until finished.

Best for fruit mead/melomel!
Still got a great expiry date! Great price for how much you get. Lalvin 71B is known to be the best for fruit mead or melomel. I've made a lot of sour tart cherry melomel with 71B with fantastic results compared to other yeasts. It'll go up to 14% ABV which is strong enough to make it worth brewing and low enough for it to be drinkable!
