Large canning jars
These mason jars were purchased to make sauerkraut, They are sturdy and have just the right volume to handle a small cabbage. Best when used with vented one-way lids.

Decent quality
Glass is quality but the lids leave a bit to be desired. Name brand jar lids have silicone rubber seals. These came with a cheap waxed paper seal.

Great for Limoncello
My whole family loves Limoncello, and I used these to make a big batch for everyone for this summer. THey are great for that. Wide mouths to get all the peels in, very sturdy, and they came with two lids each - metal and plastic - both of which fit great. Very easy to clean too. I'm very pleased with these.

Mason jars are pretty good however, the caps could be a little better as they’re already starting to rust.
