Liquitex Professional Acrylic Varnish, High Gloss, 946 ml

Great varnish. Used it on top of another product to protect my painted picture. The colours were vivid and looked great. I varnished it 2 times and used a sponge brush. This evens out and doesn't leave any streaks, and dries pretty quickly. Highly recommend

Was on the fence about getting this one as many said it wasn't shiny enough and wasn't that noticeable. Thought I'd take a chance anyway. After receiving it then applying this to 3D printed models, it came out better than expected, the more coats I applied, the glossier or shinier or looked, it made some of my 3D prints look like porcelain! Absolutely brilliant product, one I'll definitely be using again.

This Liquitex high gloss varnish is thick and produces a lovely finish. I tried it out on a rough textured pebble after applying gold acrylic ink rubbed into the surface pits. After allowing the first coat to dry, I applied a second coat of varnish with a sponge brush, to help level out some of the surface texture. It feels really tactile and looks great.

Previously, I had bought small bottles of the varnish as and when required. When the 1ltr value price became available, I didn't hesitate. I know the product and have complete confidence in what it does. Great value.

A cheap brush will leave stroke marks. And basically destroys your artwork. Use a small amount of this with a foam brush.

A good size bottle that goes a long way very high gloss gave my three paintings two coats and very pleased will buy again does not take too long to dry hardly seems like any used poured straight on paintings and spread out with a good size brush much easier to do very good value for money

I recently used the Liquitex Professional High Gloss Varnish on my finished acrylic paintings and I’m highly impressed. I thinned it slightly with water to help with a smooth, even application, and it worked beautifully. Ik gebruik het op mijn acryl gieten canvassen en na 2 lagen al een prachtige glans. Breng het aan met een zacht katoenen doekje dus geen strepen.
