Other than the color, this is exactly the same as my Camp Axel 1686, but is cheaper. Singing Rock as a version that appears to be another exact copy with yet another color.I use mine mostly as a climbing device. So far these things have been bulletproof. No surprise slippage, not fussy about rope brand or type. I'm using 11mm and it is comfortably at the max. Of course the max spec is 11mm, so that is right in line.A few things to note. You cannot pull a weighted rope down through this device, only up. The side plates will not open allow you unload mid-rope unless you unhook the device. If you tied in directly with a knot you would need to retie. I use a biner like every one else, but having it off of your harness while at height means you could drop it. If you are a "bomb from the sky" descender you may not like this. It's maximum speed while lowering using the lever isn't terribly fast. If you try to ride the edge of the fastest portion of the lever action you may mistankenly trigger the panic feature. It is prohibited in the directions, but you can "one hand on the lever" only and still descend smoothly. It isn't a good practice, but it is nice to know it works in case you ever injure your hand or arm and need a one handed ride down.

I love this device. I prefer this over the gri gri, because it is safer for beginners to use. It has a panic pull feature on the lever where if you pull it to hard the person stops being lowered, whereas the gri gri will send you flying to the ground. I also like how you have to press a button to let rope out. Way safer than the Petzl Gri Gri where if you squeeze the housing and don't let go, you can fall a long distance fast. I have never had a problem with the camming action, and it works great for RADS systems.

Works perfectly as a slackline pulley system brake. Nice metal handle, detensions very smooth, no slippage, very confidence inspiring quality. There is a reason so many people use these over the GriGri or other belay devices in pulley systems, it is made very well and it just works! No snapping off plastic GriGri handles, this guy is all metal!

Well, It is what it is! And thats a large hunk-a-metal! ----I bought it to be used for rope-soloing, and It works like a dream. auto feeds great- and with the very touchy locking system, this thing allways bites when needed (keeps me feeling safe)- Note- Its Heavy, and Also came with a lot of Grease in the device- had to clean acess before it gooked up my rope! Yeehaw

Yes, it is heavy but it is now my favorite belay device. Smooth, precise and in my estimation it is virtually error proof. If I am being belayed by a new climber - it's the only device I trust.

Habe vor knapp einem Jahr mit Geocachen angefangen und brauche das Eddy seit Mitte des Jahres für T5 Caches!Vom abseilen an einer Felswand bis zum abseilen freihängend an einem Turm wurde das Eddy mittlerweile von mir eingesetzt.Es vermittelt ein sicheres Gefühl, wenn man Vertrauen zur Technik gefunden hat. Auch die Panikfunktion gefallt gut. Wenn man den Hebel loslässt oder zu weit nach unten zieht, hängt man sofort wieder fest im Seil.Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super Teil das alles hat was der Amateur brauchtder Panik Stop wurde schon gebraucht !Größe und Gewicht super - genauso wie es sein muß

Super Teil, nutze es für vieles. In der Paumpflege, Jugendarbeit und beim sichern wenn ich mit meinen Kumpels klettern gehe. Hat mich noch nie im Stich gelassen zuverlässig und einfach im Handling.

Bremsnocke schließt bei jeder Seilführung zuverlässig, auch "ohne Bremshand" ...!Hohes Gewicht, also nur Klettergarten/Indoor geeignet.Ablassen diffizil, geringer Spielraum.Panikfunktion prima für ungeübten Nutzer....

降下以外いろいろと使い道があり便利です。（スマートローリーの動画を参考にして下さい。）もう少し軽ければ文句なしです。
