great value for the price, very well built has good material. better running than some other off brands

I bought the grinder for limited duties and almost went for a smaller model (which would have worked), but glad I stepped up to the made in Germany model as it is way more powerful than I needed and everything I've used it for (so far) has been absolutely effortless and it doesn't phase the performance of the grinder.

Wow, one bad ass grinder.👍 I am not easy with my tools, I use them and this one takes it well.

Nice grinder so far compared to Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt. The 'soft' start is really nice for one handed operation.

This is a five star review with qualifications. I love my Metabo angle grinder. I use it a lot, but it started cutting out, I was getting inconsistent power. It would stop in the middle of a cut. I emailed the company and they said I had two options, mail it back to them or take it to a “. Licensed “ repair place near me. I went online. I found three places at least within my state& called each one. none of them actually still repair Matabo angle grinders so I mailed it back to the factory in Alabama? Georgia? I used a flat rate box so at least I did not have to pay for the weight. I received my angle grinder back good as new in six weeks and I’m grinding up a storm again. Obviously I wish it had just worked in the first place, but they do stand by their product and make repairs. I did have to pay for shipping.

Older one broke after many years of use. My husband loves the new features of the one he just purchased. Easy access to the blade.

As for the grinder, blows Dewalt and Milwaukee out of the water. You feel the difference right away. So smooth yet powerful. Like finely tuned gears. No vibration because it’s so tight and stable. Sounds different too. Quieter but intense. BUT, mine was likely a repackage of some sort. The box was tattered. And there was a scuff on the grinder like it had been dropped. Wasn’t packed with anything. Just loose in a package box in inside a bigger box. For the prestige of a premium tool I expected more care. This was my entry test into switching all my power tools to Metabo(German) tools. Now I am very hesitant. And shopping others like Festool, Fein, Milwaukee, etc.

What can I say… This grinder is pretty amazing. I love the power, I love the speed, I love the slide switch. The quick disconnect is pretty normal… Doesn’t change how I use the grinder. This grinder is pretty amazing for the money.

As a welder we kill grinders nonstop. This is the best 5" made in my opinion

I don't use a grinder every day but when I do I'm glad I purchased my Metabo. I was split between cordless and corded but I have access to a cordless when necessary so I chose the Metabo for the power and quality build.

Comme toujours Walter a encore frapper un circuit avec cette outil le prix es plus cher un peu que d'autres mais la qualité es la . Alors vous avez toujours le choix mais si votre budget le permet allez-y gâté vous et acheter la crème .Merci
