Excellent budget cabinet
I have purchased and installed both the 9U and 12U versions of this cabinet. For the price, these are excellent units. A few notes:- These do not come with any shelves. They do come with the vertical rails to which you will attach your separately purchased shelves.- These do not have feet or casters. They sit flat on whatever surface you put them on. There are angled ventilation intakes at the bottom sides, so sitting flat does not block any airflow.- These cabinets are intended to be wall-mounted, and the back panels have substantial mounting holes for that purpose. I did not wall-mount mine, no need.- The locks and keys provided with these are flimsy. And as I proved, the keys are the same - that is, the keys I got with the 12U cabinet opened the other 9U cabinet I ordered, and vice versa. So don't consider their locks and keys to do more than discourage the most casual "I feel like unplugging some wires or pushing some buttons" attempts.- The sheet metal these are made from is substantial. They do not flex.- The fit and finish is very good. I had no trouble assembling mine; there were no mis-aligned holes or other manufacturing defects.- The top panel (the roof) has two fan mounts. One fan ships installed. Therefore, you can add a second fan if desired.- They ship with extra screws. I had plenty of hardware left over when assembled.I would definitely buy one of these again. I especially like that there is the option of a non-glass door, to reduce weight and risk of breakage.

Needed to secure my network drop in garage
I wanted something to keep my modem, router, and switch away from nerdowells. I was once burgled by someone who was able to unplug my network and kill all my wifi cams.I had to cut a hole in the back panel of this rack, but it worked perfectly for what I needed. It's sturdy too. It was easy to assemble. Looks great!

Decent for the price
The wall cabinet rack over would get. 5-star rating if it weren’t for the issues right out of the box. A couple main cage nuts were bouncing around loosely in the box. These were main cage nuts used on the Front Frame assembly-and as it happened to be, both were defective with stripped or improperly cut threads. Assembly is now on hold waiting for a response from RackPath rather than returning, which is an option but a lot of effort over a couple cage bolts. RackPath website says allow 48 hours for response…I can have a replacement rack from Amazon in that time! For what it’s worth, these particular cage nuts are the same thread as the rail cage nuts, but a different thickness. That means they are a different nut which am sure is intended for the needed extra strength in the frame….so I cannot just swap them out for standard cage nuts. Ugh!After that, the rack is pretty much as expected. Like I said, a great rating is to come IF RackPath gets this issue squared away quickly.UPDATE:To my surprise, RackPath got back to me this evening. That at least is a good thing. However, they could not send replacement cage nuts for the defective one I have. Not good. That means I now have to re-order and return. 5 more days before I can pick this project up again.Another detail worthy of mentioning... The wall mount bolts included are 1 inch lag. 8 x 1 inch bolts/wood screws. This cabinet weight and easy 25-30 pounds, and is rated for 100 pounds of equipment. With a one inch wood screw going into the wall, through the metal back plane, then through my 5/8 sheetrock wall before touching a stud. That leaves about 5/16 of an inch of the bolt in the wood stud, with the Tip being at leach 1/8 inch of that in the wood. Not sure I want to trust 100+ poungs of weight to 3/8 inch of a screw in the wood. But maybe thats just me. I am thinking 1.5 to 1.75 inch length screws is much more appropriate. After RackPath dealt with the bad cage nuts issue, upping the rating. Decent rack.

Good network box with fan
I give the lock feature 1 star. I had to bend the metal for each lock to lock in place. Otherwise a great box.

Rigidity issues when mounting to wall
Not a fan how this rack assembled using cage nuts for all the corners. I mounted this to the wall and it sits out of square. Even with everything level and tightened, it sags in the front and has enough play that I can move it up and down. I have to push the rack up in the front in order for the door to close and for the side panels to fit. The lock fitment on the front door is also too tight. The lock latch rubs on the case making it hard to lock and unlock. I'll probably wind up fabricating something to stiffen up the corners so it doesn't sag as much. While not indicated in the instructions it does look like there are holes to allow for flipping the opening of the door to the opposite side. This would have been nice in my situation due to where I mounted it. However, the Rackpath logo is printed on the door it self so even if I did switch it, the logo would wind up upside down. It's a decent rack for the price and would work if sitting on a shelf. Not happy with the rigidity when hanging on a wall.

Great rack!
It is a great, small network rack. It makes for a clean way to organize the network for a small office. I do wish I didn't have to assemble it though. I have purchased others that came preassembled.

Stripped Screws - Low Quality
I was not expecting much for this network rack, it was a great price. I did expect the screws to not crack.

Works as intended
Simple to set up, I managed to install it myself (But please get help if you get this)Plenty of space, bit of trial and error installing a shelf I got for it, But it works! Fans are no issue, since I have this installed in my garage.
