It works but…
So you’re probably buying this as a replacement for your Badland winches from harbor freight? That is my case because the cables on my seven year old winch were shot. These fit perfectly and the housing is an exact replica of the original Badland solenoid box. My mistake was that I did not notice it did not come with the actual solenoid. That was no fault of the seller, but from my misunderstanding of what came with this. When I purchased the solenoid, it was a perfect fit. The part where are you hook up the winch remote will not fit the Badland winches so you will have to take it apart and swap out the female connector where the remote for the winch goes. You can just remove it from your original box and they will swap out perfectly fine. Beats paying over $100 from HarborFreight for a replacement.
