The seventh studio album by the American alternative metal band, originally released in November 2012. It's title is a phrase from the Japanese language, translating to 'premonition of love'. Band frontman Chino Moreno characterized the album as 'dynamic' with a full range of noise, noting an increased contribution of ideas by bassist Sergio Vega compared to their previous record, 'Diamond Eyes' (2010). Features the singles 'Leathers', 'Tempest', 'Swerve City' and 'Romantic Dreams'. Review: A must have - It’s a really nice album to add at the vinyl collection, Deftones is one of my top favorites Review: Great album - Delivery took awhile and the packaging was superb. If you're a Deftones fan like me, then this album is a must have. All the songs are great too.

Deftones Best!
This continues to be my favorite Deftones album (I purchased the CD), and IMO an absolute rock masterpiece overall. The sound and production is luscious and full throughout, walking a fine line between angry intensity and moving, waves of feeling, in the same way Tool often does. Unlike some Deftones albums that feel like a disjointed mix of hits and fillers, Koi No Yokan is a modern day concept album with depth throughout, flowing seamlessly from one song to the next in a cohesive and consistent manner. Each song is very different and unique, but maintains a similar theme and feel, and all are enjoyable to listen to. Best listened to from beginning to end while enjoying the beautiful graphics!

Arguably the best Deftones album
Around The Fur and the self titled have been my favourite Deftones albums for many years, until I listened to this album. This one is probably their best.

The "Total Package" Deftones Record
Koi No Yokan is just a masterpiece. It’s the band firing on all cylinders, blending their "dreamy" side with their "crushing" side perfectly. It feels like one long, cinematic trip rather than just a collection of songs. "Rosemary" might be their best song ever. It starts like a dream and ends with a riff heavy enough to move mountains. "Leathers" is pure energy. It’s the perfect example of how they can be aggressive without sounding like a throwback to 1998. "Entombed" is easily one of Chino’s most beautiful vocal performances. It’s "space-rock" done right. Everything feels connected. You can play this from start to finish without wanting to skip a single track. The production is very polished. If you like the raw, garage-band grit of their first two albums, this might feel a little too "professional." There’s a lot going on in the mix. On a cheap pair of headphones, some of the layers can get lost. This is the one I give to people who say they don't "get" Deftones. It’s the perfect entry point and arguably their most consistent work.

流石の安定感、Deftones
