EWK 1/4" Drive Digital Angle Torque Wrench 1.1-22.1 ft-lbs (1.5-30 Nm)

I am super impressed with this digital torque wrench! It is beautifully made and a pleasure to use. I had recently ordered a 3/8" digital torque wrench that I am still trying to figure out how to use and is why I truly appreciate the intuitive nature of the controls. From the "no tools needed" to change the batteries to the easy to understand control buttons for setting the wrench. Its designed to turn on and be ready for the most common use for the wrench, what could be better! I was surprised and a bit concerned by how long the handle is for a 1/4" drive, but have quickly come to realize that it is part of the design. The handle length makes it so easy to smoothly apply torque and bring the fastener right up to spec without going over. If that wasn't enough the wrench signalling lets you know as you get closer and closer, including having the handle vibrate as you are just about there! To top all that off it comes in a fit metal case, yes metal, not plastic. When was the last time that happened? Definitely a beautiful tool and well worth every penny!

I broke the ratcheting mechanism in less than a year, contacted EWK and they told me to buy another! Won't be buying another torque wrench from them, At first I was very pleased with the product, but they were not willing to sell me a part to fix it, warranty it or even attempt to do anything for me, for that reason I'll go to the Big Red too truck for the next one!
