Juwel Automatic Heater, 200 W

Good heater and easy to read the dial. Seems sturdy and fits into really well.

These heaters are well made.The seal is solid on top and the temperature adjuster is nice and stable when turning it to either hotter or colder.The length is just about right for the tank size mentioned.The heater comes with enough cable to allow it to reach most electrical sockets that would be close to where you site your tank.Solid plug as well which doesn't heat upHappy to recommend it to Aquarium enthusiasts.

I had the old juwel heater for my Jewel vision 180 that had the plus and minus which was very difficult to read and confusing in lowering / increasing the temperature. It was quite old and overheating so I guessed the thermostat was gone. I purchased this and could instantly see improvements. The control reading is now in degrees with 24 being the middle so much easier in choosing a desired temperature. It also came with clips so it clips to the top of filter housing and the temperature gauge is now above the water so I can change it without getting my hands wet. I've had it in for a few weeks now and my temperature has stayed exactly the same. My thermometer reads around 0.1-0.2 out but I don't know if that is the heater or the thermometer but that is not an issue as the heater is working at maintaining a consistent temperature. I would also add I'm fairly new to tropical fish keeping and using juwel products has made things much easier for me and I would recommend them

Spent a long time choosing a heater due to the many bad reviews on products like this. Finally decided on this one and I am very pleased with it. Bought two to heat a large 1000 litre Yellow-Bellied Slider indoor pond and they seem to work great at keeping the water above 16 celcius mark which is what I wanted them for. I have mine in a guard (bought seperately) as the sliders can be rough with them.

The old heater stopped working and the water went cold so I bought the new heater and it brought the temperature up over a matter of hours as described, very happy with it 👍

great service arrived on time, as for the heater its juwel you can’t go wrong with this product cost a bit more than others but worth every penny, first class 👍🏼

As with everything Juwel it seems, these were awesome. I have 2 x 80l tanks set up in my living room, one had a 100w heater I originally bought for zinc plating and the other came with a filter box on the back of the tank which I wanted to remove. They both fit pretty much perfectly in a vertical position at the end of each tank, with the filter/pump on the other end of the tank pushing the water straight towards the heaters on exit, it keeps the tank perfectly stable. I've been checking the temps and no matter what temperature it is outside, or in the room, the tank stays solid. Very happy!
