Over the years I’ve tried maybe 20 different utility knives of various brands and sizes (9mm, 18mm and 25mm). The one I always end up coming back to, is this 18mm WorkPRO knife; it’s build quality is superb and it feels solid in your hand without being too heavy, it’s easy to deploy the blade and it stays in place with a solid click, and it’s equally easy to retract the blade back into the handle. The blade is made of SK5 steel, with a black, very smooth coating. It slices amazingly well. Replacing the blade when all used, is also very easy, following the steps depicted in the inclosed instructions.I have rarely given a utility knife this much attention, as I have with this one, but it simply deserves it. I believe my search for the ultimate utility knife has been completed,Giving it a 5-star rating is a no-brainer!

This is my favorite utility knife. I had the OLFA knife with the twist lock, but locking and unlocking the blade was a pain. This one is really simple and the blade is secure. It retracts nicely and the size is comfortable in your hand. The blades are scary sharp but they can rust so keep them dry. It's a great value.

Hands down the best utility knife I’ve ever used. I’m working on cardboard props and costumes and the sharp blades and small sized grip makes it a breeze. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with this purchase so far. I have had the snap-off blade knives before, but they felt quite flimsy. These are heavy duty and the blades are sturdy. I don't feel like I have to limit the material on which I use them and think they will last well. Recommend!

I've been using 18mm break-away utility knife at work thru out the day for over 30 years. The main housing is made out of aluminum and solid plastic, knife track is made of steel. The size is just right, not too big, not too small, nor too thin(body). Feels good & firm holding in hand. Blade wobbling is minimal for auto-lock style knife. It feels better in hand than it looks. Excellent value considering the free 10 extra blades. Highly Recommended!!!

I have used this Workpro mainly as a box cutter and I am sartisfied with its makeup.

Liegt gut in der Hand; schwarze Klingen sind superscharf; einfaches Aus/Einfahren der Klinge; ausgefahrene Klinge wird gut festgehalten ohne das eine Extraverriegelung notwendig ist.Die Frage ist jetzt: wie hält es sich im Dauereinsatz?Aber der erste Eindruck ist einfach gut.
