The delivery and shipping went off without a hitch. The sand becomes lumpy after only a short time. I was able to take a business card and chop up the chunks. This will have to be done on a regular basis.

I would recommend this product as it does an adequate job, however it is a bit more grainier than the original sand and this somewhat compromises the quality of the designs.

the Pit and Pendulum requires a specialized sand that is fine enough to easily comply to the 'design' strokes of the pendulum. The sand that I ordered and received, does just that. It's exactly what I wanted. I received my order in a timely manner allowing my grandchildren to delight in the designs 'they' created.

I ordered replacement sand for my pit and pendulum. There were 2 different sizes so I called the company who assured me the smaller size should be sufficient unless I wanted extra. Because I had some sand left I ordered the smaller size. I couldn’t believe how tiny the bag of sand was that they sent. When I added it to the sand I already had, it barely covered the surface to make a design. If I loose any sand, I will not have enough. Since I already paid about $18 including shipping for the sand already, I certainly don’t want to end up buying another one and end up paying $36 just for sand. I wish I had known how little they give you. I would have bought the bigger bag to begin with.

The original sand never clumped. This sand has been clumpy and unusable for a month now because of the high humidity we have been having.

Finally found the sand that I was looking for to replace what had diminished over the years. It's very fine and soft and the pendulum works very well. I ordered 1 bag and ultimately needed a total of 3. I ordered 1 at a time. it would be helpful if the amount was specified in product details. Replacement Sand for Pit and Pendulum

The texture of the sand is fine enough to use in a sand pendulum. However, the sand clumps easily. It happened from the time I open the package and poured it out and still continues to happen after a break up every clump that I see.
