A year of use and I love this thing
I waited a year before writing a review, I wanted to really use this item before I was willing to recommend it or not. I chose this scooter on the verbal recommendation of a random stranger at Disneyland. I had been looking for months and was undecided until I saw her and recognized the scooter from my searches. We chatted for a bit and she had nothing but nice things to say about her scooter, so I took the plunge and got one myself.I am SO glad I did! Be aware, the assembly instruction make no sense, I remember that, but with just a bit of fiddling and testing things out, I was able to figure out how to put it together myself. I was really just putting slot A into hole B, it wasn't anything complicated. It came with 2 batteries and a charger for them. The basket is fabric and has been sturdy, I have had no tears. The seat could probably do with a bit more padding, if you plan to sit in it for 4+ hours, you might want to add a pillow, but it wasn't enough to be a problem for me.I was worried at first about the pegs, I was looking for something with a platform to rest my feet I couldn't tell from the listing if the pegs moved with the handlebars or not. Rest assured, the pegs are actually comfortable and they do NOT move with the handlebars so you don't have to worry about your legs having to twist with your arms. I found that even in sandals, my feet did not mind the pegs.I have not had any problems with the wheels, but then, most of my use has been either indoors or sidewalks. I feel like it is very lightweight, I am able to pick it up myself and get it in and out of the trunk.I am able to take this apart and fit it into my small sedan trunk and still have space for my suitcase, the seat ends up being the largest part as it doesn't compact farther than putting the seatback down. I have ridden this scooter on Amtrak and on the BART in Oakland and had zero problem maneuvering or navigating with it. Be aware around small children who want to walk beside you, their little ankles can get caught in the wheel bar, but I just taped a pool noodle over it and problem solved.Overall, it was a great price and fit all of my needs in order to give me a lot of mobility back. It has made it a lot easier to live my life and that is everything.

Scooting along
Easy to drive in difficult situations. Took on a cruise and very maneuverable. Only bad thing is no key when you go into a show or restaurant and have to park it away from you.Love the two batteries

Why
This doesn’t work, it came with a note inside the box when I opened it, ask why they even sent this out to be repurchased, this supposed to have went back to the manufacturer.

Lightweight and handy
I loved this scooter because it’s lightweight. Very easy to fold and put in the back of car. It doesn’t take up much space.

Excellent little scooter
I've had this for a few weeks so here goes. First if you are on the heavy side you will not get the estimated range from this. Reduce the range by about 1 mile per 50 lbs. over 150. It is light weight enough to pick up with one hand, this might not be true for everyone. The speed is decent and my dog loves being able to go much faster than when I walk him without it. But now I use it to walk him every time now. One of the batteries would only take a half charge, but the seller worked with me and sent me a new one to replace it. Its fun to use and easy to assemble but do NOT take turns fast it will tip over. As it tips put a foot down if you can and that will stop the fall. I plan to take it on my next cruise and anticipate a much better time than I had on my last one as the walking was really getting to me.

Portable scooter that is actually portable!
Other first “portable” scooter still had a heavy (55 pound) piece I could not lift alone. I returned it and got this. This is actually portable.Used it at Disneyland and every single other person on a scooter that was ever stopped near me oohed and ahhhed over it.I only have a foot injury, and can balance and walk on it for short distances, and am otherwise strong. If you need something that will hold you up more you might want something more substantial. Also I am under 200 pounds so if you are heavy this might not work for you.My only concern at times was that it did not have a removable key to prevent theft. I suppose I could lock it up with a bike chain if necessary.Nice to be able to flip up the foot bars to make tighter turns.Sometimes getting into elevators I would stay seated but walk it in and out. That was a nice feature. The more traditional scooters are not moveble without power-moving them.

Works well. BUT
No battery insertion instructions. After you figure out how. Still very difficult to insert.

Amazing, light weight scooter!
We contemplated renting one for vacation at Jamaica resort ($300+ per week) as hubby awaiting back surgery so we took a look all around at Amazon options. We originally bought this one for $800 but then saw down to $529 so we returned and ordered the one for $529. That said, at $800, it was our choice based on weight of scooter and weight limit. Hubby is 265 lb and this scooter had no problem hauling him. Liked the 2 battery option - used one all day zipping around resort turn swap out next morning. It was great at airport (Keep batteries with you in carryon) - ride right up to plane and gate check (take battery off). The seat comes off and we took strap to keep it shut/closed up (both parts went at gate check). The other part folds up (see pic), so quite compact. Didn’t weigh but it’s less than 40 lb all parts. Make sure when you check in to get a tag and then once thru security go to airline customer service desk by gate to get the gate check tag (need new one for each leg of trip). He could def go faster than I could walk! We strongly recommend. We told everyone at the resort who asked so the boost in sales last week or so prob thanks to us! My mom ordered one, too - appreciate size and weight so I can easily put in her car when we go run errands.
