Should fit. It takes my Sony a7Riii with the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS which is a longer lens (hood reversed) There would still be roon for something like a small kit zoom and batteries, etc., beside it.

Hi, The padding is attached to the inside of the bag with Velcro and is totally removable. The inside dimensions of the bag without the padding are virtually the same as the outside. The thickness of the padding is approximately two cms and can be configured in a multitude of ways. Therefore the internal dimensions will be determined by how you arrange the padding.

How deep is the insert in the Maxima 520? I have a Canon 70d with battery grip and want to know if it will fit in the bag.

Inserts are adjustable so should fit. I have a 300mm telephoto lens plus 4 other lenses that all fit with it.
