UniBond No More Nails On A Roll
**Review: UniBond No More Nails On A Roll – A Handy Solution with a Few Considerations** After using UniBond No More Nails On A Roll for several small projects around the house, I’d say it’s a solid product with a lot of potential — though it’s not perfect in every scenario. **Quality-wise**, the tape feels well-made and durable. It’s thick enough to handle light to medium loads without tearing or stretching, and it comes with a protective backing that peels off cleanly. As for whether it **falls off**, that really depends on the surface and weight of the item you're sticking. On smooth, clean surfaces like tile or painted drywall, it sticks well and holds firm for smaller objects. However, heavier items or textured surfaces may weaken the bond over time. It's definitely not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it holds impressively well when used within its limits. When it comes to **solidity and holding power**, it's reliable for lighter items such as hooks, photo frames, cable clips, and small decorations. I've had a few items mounted for weeks with no slipping or signs of strain. Just don’t expect it to support anything too heavy — it’s strong, but not industrial-strength. **Appearance-wise**, it's discreet. Since it’s hidden behind whatever you’re sticking, there's no visible mess or residue. The finish is clean, which is great if you're going for a minimal or damage-free look. In terms of **value for money**, it’s quite fair. One roll goes a surprisingly long way, especially when you're cutting it to size. Compared to drilling holes or buying hardware, this is a cost-effective alternative for quick jobs. **Ease of cleaning** is a mixed bag. If you remove the tape carefully, it doesn’t leave much residue, but on some surfaces, especially painted walls, it can take a bit of the finish with it. A little adhesive remover helps if you’re dealing with leftover stickiness. I’d recommend testing a small area first if you're unsure. **Overall**, UniBond No More Nails On A Roll is a convenient and practical option for light-duty jobs. It won’t replace screws for heavy items, but for quick fixes or decorative use, it saves time, looks tidy, and gets the job done with minimal fuss.

UniBond No More Nails On A Roll, Double-Sided Tape
As a seasoned DIY enthusiast, I've encountered my fair share of 'quick fixes' that promise much but deliver little. So, it was with a healthy dose of skepticism that I approached UniBond's No More Nails On A Roll. This double-sided tape claims to offer reliable instant bonding for a multitude of surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. After putting it through its paces, here's my detailed review. First Impressions: The packaging is robust and gives off a professional vibe. The roll itself is a standard size, measuring 19mm x 1.5m, which is ample for several projects before needing a replacement. The tape feels sturdy and has a significant weight to it, suggesting a quality product. Ease of Use: The application process is straightforward. The tape peels off the roll easily, and the adhesive is exposed without any fuss. It sticks to surfaces upon contact, and there's no need for any additional tools or preparation, which is a huge plus for quick tasks. Adhesive Quality: I tested the tape on various materials, including wood, plastic, and metal, and found the adhesive strength to be impressive. It holds well, even under strain, and there's no sign of peeling or weakening over time. The bond it forms is strong enough for most household tasks, and it's reassuring to know that it can withstand some weight. Versatility: The product is marketed as suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and it lives up to this claim. I used it to secure an outdoor light fixture and to mount a soap dispenser in the bathroom. In both scenarios, the tape held up admirably, showing no signs of wear due to weather or moisture. Removal: One of the key concerns with any adhesive product is the potential damage upon removal. I found that while the tape does not leave significant residue, it requires some care when removing to avoid damage to the surface, especially if it's delicate or painted. Conclusion: UniBond's No More Nails On A Roll is a reliable and versatile product that stands up to its claims. It's a great addition to any toolbox for those quick fixes where traditional nails or screws would be overkill or impractical. I've deducted one star due to the need for careful removal, but otherwise, it's a product I'd recommend to fellow DIYers. Would I repurchase? Absolutely. It's earned its place as a staple in my DIY arsenal. Whether you're a professional handyman or a casual home improver, this tape is worth considering for your next project.

Amazing stuff
Omg!! This stuff is amazing but you need to be on point with it because if you’re not then there’s no changing! It’s so much better than the original squeeze stuff, it sticks immediately!! No waiting 5 minutes holding it down, also it holds heavy items on too

Not great for the weight described
This type of tape would be fine for pictures, mirrors maybe, but it advertises much heavy objects - and just cannot hold the weight. I bought the tape to support some floating shelves already drilled into the wall, but needed the double security due to the thinness of our walls. The tape was easy to unroll, and was at an alright cost, but when it actually came to sticking it to the shelves, the quality was awful and the adhesive struggled to get any bond with the shelf at all. It also provided no extra support for the weight on the shelves, and was a pain to remove afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend this to be honest for anything heavier than a photo frame.

Better than expected
This tape was purchased to stick a blind up to cover a doors glass and the 3m stuff supplied was not suitable. When it arrived I noticed it didn't feel overly sticky, but maybe I'm missing the point as it's actually got an iron grip dispite this which is great but doesn't really make sense to me. Point is it works the blind which isn't light has been stuck in place for a few weeks now and even if I pull on it there's no movement so I'm very happy. Tape thickness is decent. Was easy to fit although I used the edge of a knife to remove the red peal, and as I said it's very strong. A great purchase and a great price, saved me having to drill holes in a new door frame.

Useless and terrible customer service
If I could leave zero stars I would. I used this to mount a ring doorbell to a wooden panel outside in a sheltered area. After a little over 4 weeks it came off and my new ring doorbell is broken. Henkel have made me jump through hoops sending email after email, picture after picture just to say I used the product wring because the panel was painted. It doesn't say anything about paint it says oily surfaces. They also argued that the tapes claims of being permanent and string is un regards to ideal circumstances, I.e indoors on a wall or something. They offered me to refund my tape but ice decided to take this further as they are refusing to replace my broken doorbell because of all these additional "ideal circumstances" that aren't written on the package. They're also using my lack of packaging as an excuse, who keeps rubbish in their home for nearly 5 weeks. Terrible customer service, I guess people normally give up but I'm contacting consumer rights and rhe trading standards as they are claiming I didn't use it right based on information not shared on the packaging. I do believe that's misrepresentation. Don't buy this!

Perfect for car number plates
The key to getting excellent, long lasting adhesion is fastidious preparation. I removed the car's old number plates as they were starting to delaminate and were held on with unsightly rusty screws (getting these out was 'interesting', but that's another story...). The new number plates were given a wipe over with a new, lint-free cloth and methylated spirits. My hands and the (sharp) scissors were clean. I cut and applied the tape as pictured - there was approximately 10cm of tape left on the roll, 'just in case'. This was all done indoors in a clean and warm kitchen. I then set to work cleaning the areas on the front and rear of the car where the plates would be going. Each was sprayed with kitchen degreaser, and then washed/wiped thoroughly and rinsed/wiped with plenty of clean water. This was repeated. When both areas had dried (it was a warm day so it didn't take long) I used another clean, lint-free cloth with methylated spirits to wipe over the areas again. I then carefully marked off where the plates would go with some small pieces of masking tape. The red tape on the back of the adhesive tape was tricky to remove and required some patience. I was very careful to just use my fingernails and did not touch the tape with my fingers at all - this is very important to get good adhesion. The plates were applied with firm pressure for a minute or so - both mounting surfaces are curved but the plates appeared to be immediately secure. I was hoping to leave them for a good 24 hours of dry weather (as forecast) before driving but there was a huge thunderstorm about 4 hours after putting the plates on. Fortunately, there doesn't seem to have been any adverse effect. I've driven the car for a few days over some typical poorly surfaced UK roads in rain and sunshine and there's no sign of these number plates moving. I was skeptical to begin with but now I'd highly recommend this tape - just take your time preparing the surfaces so that they are dry, dust-free and grease free.
