Series, for a total of 6V when using 1.5V cells.

The photo shows two battery holders. i just ordered this and there was only one in the package. Is the picture misleading or was I suppose to get 2?

I received two(2) holder in one plastic bag when I received my order! I'm sure Amazon or the seller will send you the correct qty if you contact them.

is there any way to un-'wire' the switch so i can connect leads to this to make the switch somewhere else (putting this in a cosplay model)?

I soldered wires to use in a severed arm prop where switch was 2’ from motor it turned on and off.
