Good Book provide Cryptography concept and important network security tools for my study

This book is a solid, thorough survey of cryptography for the mathematically inclined. The material will be accessible to math, computer science, or CE/EE students who've taken courses in discrete mathematics, linear algebra, proofs, probability theory and optionally abstract algebra and statistics. The book is for serious students — which is the case for all of Stallings books. There are appendices that provide you with the information needed to properly comprehend the concepts. But for most people the material will likely be hard to digest if you haven't studied the aforementioned topics beforehand. The material may be difficult for you to understand and the problems difficult to solve. If you're attempting to use this book for independent study, don't be afraid to make use of learning resources such as LLMs to help you get a better grasp on things and solve the problems. You may struggle, but it really does try to give you a solid theoretical understanding of cryptography and network security fundamentals. The book gives pseudocode to understand how these concepts are applied. But as far as using tools that implement them, you're better off supplementing this book with another that talks about actual software implementations and how to use them. I'd say this is a good introduction to the theoretical side of things, again, provided you've had some serious exposure to the previously mentioned topic. It's a book that will setup you up well for more intense study. As an aside, all of Stallings' books are good introductions for understanding the fundamentals of the book's subject provided that the student is committed and/or has some talent

You cant access the material with this code you need a special link from an instructor. Just find the ebook somewhere else. The paper they send with the code wont work by itself save your money.

I was expecting a used book and received a brand-new book! The pages are thin and colored making the visuals easy to read and understand. The explanation, examples, and visuals made the class a breeze. BEWARE of using sticky notes or tabs they make rip the page or lift a layer of paper if not carefully removed. A good essential read for cybersecurity students.
