Great product, and very easy to fit, with detailed instructions.

I have a toilet that was fitted with the same unit as this. It was probably about nine years old. It had started to leak through the seal at the bottom which was black. Water was continually running through into the toilet bowl.The new replacement has a slightly thinner and a wider diameter grey rubber seal that is much softer than the original black one. I'm guessing that the new seal has been introduced to be more reliable than the old seal.The option of 3 or 6 litre when flushing works well.I left the old base in place which meant it was a very easy job to fit the new unit. It's just a kind of bayonet fittiing into the base. you just line it up, push down and twist to the right. Job done, works a treat.

As long as it’s a like for like replacement this is easy to fit as all the components are the same

This is a straight replacement like for like, obviously not everybody would like to dismantle the cistern, but to a reasonably experienced diy'r or plumber alike, it was straight forward with preparation.Didn't even need to use any sealant, it sealed itself, and works a treat {the previous one was fitted by a local authority plumber, who used a mountain of sealant}.It no longer constantly dribbles into the toilet {old one's problem} = brownie points for me off of wifey.
