Real 5 Star Old School Aftershave: The aroma of Clubman Special Reserve reminds me of old leather suitcases and wooden school desks kind of vibe. A typical generic 1980s well-dressed gentleman's bouquet of aromas, straight out of the barbershop, after having a short back and sides! Very clean smelling and maybe slightly soapy in the mix. The woody-leather bouquet does not last long about 2½hrs with moderate projection and sillage. After that its very intimate for a short while, then re-application is needed to reinvigorate the great old school aroma once again!

I took my time to write the review, as initially I was very split on this product. After using it for couple of weeks however I can confidently say I like it. It's got very leathery and musky fragrance that wasn't what i was looking for as I'm a fan of more sweet, spicy and smokey, but it is a nice manly smell nonetheless. I wouldn't recommend it for twenty-somethings as it's quite olde worlde, but 30 and up, you should try it. Strong, little goes a long way, masculine, no-nonsense and now it's one of my favourites. Love.

I bought this because the reviews said it was similar to an old fragrance that I wanted but it's not really. But it's still a nice product and has a vintage smell to it. I'm happily using it a few times a week.

Well if you read my other review on the whiskey & woods scent then this isnt far off either, this is an incredibly old school barber shop smell like classic barber shop smell, real rustic and sharp, im 40 and i now know how kevin felt on home alone after trying after shave of such calibre, this is real old school, and the scent is lasting, i work hard and long and was still smelling this unique cologne 9+ hours later, this aftershave will make you wanna buy a peaky blinders suit and braces just to complete the look, get buying 💵

Repeat order. I love this fragrance. It expresses my masculinity perfectly and any boys that think it uncool just don't worry me. I wear it with confidence on a daily basis. I would like to think it is a babe-magnet but as I am with my present wife 27 (faithful) years, I have not had the opportunity to field-test its qualities. Highly recommended for those not swayed by convention or fashion!

Well, I had high expectations of this, but unfortunately the fragrance is much too sharp for my taste. The best barber shop type fragrance I've found so far is Pashana.

Old school. Long lasting. Recommended.

If you want to smell like an old man who has lived in a dusty library full of old leather bound books ,this is the one for you. It looks like vinegar and has the same after scent as non brewed condiment mixed with really old newspaper. If you want to keep the wife away from you and you like smelling like an 80 year old man get it. A passion killer if I've ever smelt one. I'm taking it to work to clean the ink off old scaffold tags. I've actually smelt better vinegar in my local chippy than this.

I have been using Pinaud Clubman products for some time now and this product is good but not as good as the regular Clubman Aftershave lotion. The fragrance is a bit on heavy side. Much like the Aramis fragrance. Good though.

( la bouteille est en plastique mais le contenant n' enlève rien au charme du contenu )

Strong woods and smoke for the first splash. Then settles to a masculine semi heavy scent. It seems better than the bay rum. The original is hard to beat. But does hang around like the special reserve.

Dabei ist es gut verträglich, hautpflegend und durch die Kombination von Aftershave und Eau de toilette nicht nur sparsam im Verbrauch, sondern bietet auch langanhaltendes Dufterlebnis. Ein wahrer Geheimtipp, in den USA ein Barbershop- Klassiker, der seit den 1940er Jahren auf dem Markt ist, von einer in Paris 1810 gegründeten Traditionsfirma, hier ein Nischenduft für diejenigen, die nicht dem Trend folgen, sondern ihrer Persönlichkeit Ausdruck geben wollen. Ein preisgünstiger Duft für den echten Herrn und alle, die es werden wollen.

Dopobarba alcolico con una fragranza vintage che non stanca mai. Parlare di profumazione è assolutamente soggettivo, ma questa fragranza di pinaud mi ha stregato. Una volta applicato e svanito l'effetto dell'alcol che ha la funzione di disinfettare e lenire il post rasatura, si sprigiona delicatamente un mix di aromi che vanno dalla cipria ai chiodi di garofano con qualche tonalità di legno nel mezzo. Il profumo è persistente fino ad un paio di ore dall'applicazione. Adatto per la rasatura o la profumazione serale. Leggo recensioni negative in merito alla bottiglia in plastica ma io lo vedo come un vantaggio in quanto se accidentalmente cade a terra o nel lavandino non provoca danni e se messo in una valigia per un viaggio è leggero e pratico.
