The texture is really nice. It doesn't feel cheap. I like that the blue stitching isn't obnoxious. Very easy to install. Keep in mind you do have to sew together a small part of it, which was much easier than i expected. And if you mess up, it’s on the side that nobody can see. The fit is perfect on my 2015 ford escape.

I purchased this item to cover the original handle on the gear shift. My fingernails are long and caused the original cover to breakdown. This item works great, easy to install, and my fingernails can't destroy it.

I’ll start by saying that I own a custom apparel company so sewing is something I do every day making the final install steps easy for me. That being said, they should really just make the closure some sort of Velcro or snaps instead of making people weave 3 feet of thread through tiny holes in a tight space. Feels good and looks good. I’d suggest warming it up a little before install. It’s currently -2° here so I held it up to my dashboard heat vent for a minute to make it more flexible. Pulled it on tight and it sits perfectly. Feels pretty durable and the waxed thread with keep it from fraying. I read some reviews about a random hole on the side that seemed like an error. That’s because many focus models have a sports mode with a manual shifting and that’s where those shift buttons are located. Not sure if they offer it without that hole but that’s why the hole is there.

Good fit. Not great. Little loose around the cutouts. Worst thing is--THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!🤬🤬 I'm not a tailor! I had to assume I knew how to do it... is it right? Maybe. Does it look good? Possibly. There, apparently, is no right or wrong way. I guess time will tell. 2017 Ford Transit. Had to put it in m1 with the emergency brake engaged to put it on... not exactly safe, but I got it on.

Returned instantly: You basically have to sew the backside of the gearshift cover yourself. The ship it with the blue thread & 2 needles! WTF?! No thank you.

(2014 Ford Fiesta) I live in FL and the top of my shifter was literally melting away in ugly, sticky chunks. This was an easy way to cover it up and still look nice. The leather has a nice soft feel to it, and it looks good. All the cutouts for the buttons line up correctly, is the right size for my model, and it was easy to install (comes w/ 2 needles and a pretty nice cord that matches the rest of the stitching to sew the front closed to fit snugly). So far it looks like good quality, we'll see how it holds up, but for the price, it was a perfect solution for my gummy shifter that was leaving black residue everywhere!
