Vallejo Game Color Advanced Acrylic Paint Set - Assorted Colours (Pack of 16)

A good starting point for miniature painting. Not sure the metallic paints are much use to me but I'm glad I went with this initially. I would recommend using this as a base and then individually buying the paints you want as you build your set. The pigments seem bright enough and by layering you can get some good colouring on models. Adding water and mixing colours allows you to build contrast. Dries quickly allowing you to build layers without too long a wait.

Having tried another popular but slightly cheaper "large force" paint supplier and being disappointed at having to return two sets for replacement and refund, I moved back to Vallejo and their consistent but slightly more expensive product. Never let me down to date.

Bought these last year for grandad to paint his hundreds of little figures. He seemed to like it so purchased it again!

Not all the colours have been used to date the ones that have been give good paint coverage. There are a good selection of colours in the set. They are easy to open and re seal comes in dropper bottles.

These paints are great and this is the second set I've bought recently. But the packaging is insufficient and the red had leaked, possibly due to being knocked around - as shown in the pictures. It takes the shine off getting a new set of colours and though I recommend Vallejo paint, I'd recommend Vallejo do a better job of packaging.

As always excellent paints by Vallejo. Particularly like the Dead Flesh and Plague Brown in this set for painting all my zombies and broodwalkers. Some purples of which you do not get with the Game Color Introduction set. Tiny Tin is an excellent all rounder metal, I have used to great effect as a base color for both steels and coppers. A selection of other colors that supplement the Game Color Introduction, overall very pleased with this set.

Excellent quality great price

Happy with my paints overall - a fair price, delivered on time, and Vallejo paints are excellent. However, the colours that arrived are not as shown in the photos! I'm not complaining as it's a good range of colours I can work with, but I'll have to buy key missing ones individually now (no white or black unlike in the photo, for example).

The paints weren't in a plastic case. They were in a box that was obviously old that as torn & crumpled. There were not 72 colors. Some of the bottles had different caps. I have pictures if needed
