Ladies Strap Collection

Absolutely beautiful watch, works brilliantly, reminiscent of one that I had in the 1980s that I absolutely loved, it's a wonderful replacement. five star watch.

I cannot understand those who call this a tiny watch, or who complain that the date is invisibly small. I'd say the watch is actually slightly larger than medium-size, and the date is perfectly legible. I bought it to replace a (smaller!) rectangular-shaped Citizen Eco-Drive watch which was given to me 15 years ago and which still keeps perfect time. There is nothing wrong with it, other than the metal case and the glass have become very scratched over the years, the dial has yellowed, and it doesn't have a seconds hand or date, and I do like to have both these things. The fact that it never needs adjusting, even after all this time, convinced me of the reliability and quality of Citizen Eco-Drive watches, so I looked at the range and couldn't decide between a much larger, waterproof bracelet model, and this more delicate one. I purchased the bracelet model at less than half price, which meant I had money left over to purchase this one too, with its classy leather strap, into which I have had to punch an extra hole to make it fit my fairly slim wrist. Its roman numerals give this watch an air of classic elegance, and the gold-framed date in place of the III is beautifully unobtrusive. A beautifully designed timepiece which I shall try to keep free of scratches.

Great for small wrists. Had it for over two and half years and its going fine. Fantastic as doesn't require battery change. Overall I'd say its reliable and good value.

Quality watch for my little girl. Light and easy to strap up and remove. easy to read and the best part is you don't need a battery!

+ The watch looks better (to me) than on the photo. Personally, I like the simple roman numerals and the overall classy look of it. It has the look and feel of a good-quality watch. The smallish case looks pretty good on my thin wrist (not sure how it would suit someone with broad wrists). And it was the case that ultimately made me choose this watch over 4 other watches; and the fact that this is an eco-drive watch built to last for a while. - My dislikes about the watch are mainly about aesthetic and feel, i.e. very subjective: First off, as other reviewers mentioned, the date window is designed in a way that makes it difficult to decipher the date; you have to put it right up to your eye or use a magnifying glass. I don't really mind that as I don't use my watch to check the date, but agree with others that it's useless and unnecessary. What's bothered me a lot more about this watch is the armband. It is very (!) stiff and the holes seem to be in weird places, meaning it doesn't fit well feels doubly uncomfortable. Even after a couple of weeks of wearing the watch it's not possible to keep the case centred; the armband's design combined with my wrist-size means the case always slips halfway around my wrist. Not only does this not look or feel nice, it also means the case is much more likely to knock or scratch against objects. I'm also not a fan of the band's look - strongly patterned plus the shiny reddish-brown colour makes it a little too gaudy for me, a little too pretend-posh looking slightly cheap / bad taste. The overall look of the watch, "gaudy" armband plus 3-colour case makes it a bit too busy to fit my classic tastes. Because I really liked the case, especially after comparing it to a number of other small-case watches, but could not get on with the armband, I kept the watch and got a new band in the end, a softer and less gaudy brown one that fits and looks better. Even with the extra cost I still consider this a good deal, but also a waste of good material.

When it arrived I was very pleased with the look of it. As i bought it as a present, I obviously haven't used it but from the look of it I would recommend it.

I bought this for my wife who has a very small wrist. It fits perfectly without having to try making an extra hole in the leather strap. It looks elegant and seems to be keeping time very well so her rather sedentary life (she's disabled and her mobility is severely curtailed) does not appear to affect the battery charging. Setting the time and date are easily accomplished and the face is very clear to read. The only downside is that the calendar date is rather small. I would thoroughly recommend this watch.
