UPDATE 23/05/2025 Just a small update on this cheapo dash cam. I keep thinking how long can this product last? I will keep posting an update now and again to report that it is still working and also when it fails. Again, I like the form that this camera takes as I can leave it attached to the rear screen and no one really can see it. I have a similar style on on the front windscreen and it is difficult to spot unless you are really looking out for it. UPDATE 17/01/2025 I think that I am quite lucky with this dash cam as it is still working. It was a cheap £24 dash cam and so I was not expecting much. Nothing much to report other than it still works. Just a reminder that I leave it in the car as it is quite a small device and you don't really notice it from outside unless you really look carefully. We have the rear window tinted so it makes it harder to spot. So it has experienced our hot summers and contrasting cold winters and yet still works. UPDATE 26/8/2024 I had always wondered how long this cheap dash cam would last. It is now coming up to one years since purchased and we are still working and with no issues. I do frequently check the footage to make sure it is recording and check a random few files to ensure that they are all the same length and play back. Just a reminder that it is installed as a rear dash cam that starts when the car starts. I do treat it as equal importance as the front main cam as both can tell the whole picture or capture as much as possible. You could argue why I did not buy a dash cam that can manage both front and rear streams. My front dash cam was also purchased on Amazon and is sub £50. I am the believer in keeping things simple. The two dash cams are not linked so if one fails then I may be lucky with the footage with the other but also a dual capture of streams is more complicated so my gut feeling with these cheapo dash cams is that it is probably asking a little too much for them to be 100% reliable. When I check the footage I do eject the sd card from the cam but do not delete or format it. I think you are meant to format on a regular period. I dont know what you would need to do this as I never format my laptop hard drive and reinstall Windows every year and it seem to still work. If and when this dash cam becomes landfill material then I will update this review but here is hoping another year of trouble free dash camming. I should point out that the car is used around 5 times a week, mainly for journeys lasting less than 1 hour but now and again a 2+ hour journey is made. I should also point out that I never remove the dash cam from the installation point so it can get very hot inside the car where it is placed. UPDATE : 8/3/2024 Just thought that I will add an update to this product. I bought it back in August 2023 and is always used as a rear camera for the car. It is still working with no issues and the video quality is still as good as it was when it was new. Will keep updating. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Already had a front dash cam but now wanted a rear facing one but had produce reasonable video without costing a lot of money. Found this one and I like the design format. It is similar to the one that we already had at the front. It is small and relatively discrete. I am able to wire it to the the rear cig socket to switch on with the car engine. Video quality is good for the price (just under £24) and seems to work ok. Had been installed for just over the month now and has operated each and every time. Naturally I will review my findings if it does fail. The mounting strips that are supplied are good as our surface is hard plastic with some kind of embossed pattern so not 100% flat.

The dash cam is really cheap (I only paid £25 for it) so it would be unrealistic to expect a super high quality product. Sure enough, it does feel a little light weight and “plasticky” BUT the image quality is reasonable and that’s what matters at the end of the day. It comes well packaged with a 12V car power adapter, USB cable for attaching to a computer, a spare adhesive pad and a clear user manual. There’s also a small plastic tool for helping you hide the cable under the car’s trim. The unit is very small and attaches flush to the windscreen with a strong 3M adhesive pad. It’s easy to completely hide the unit neatly behind the rearview mirror. Other devices I’ve seen, that attach via a suction cup mount, tend to hang down away from the windscreen and are far more obtrusive. Video quality is pretty good for such a budget device. Videos need to be reviewed on a computer, the screen on the dash cam is tiny and only suitable for configuring the device. The unit slides out of the windscreen mount easily and then can be attached to a computer via the supplied USB cable. It then looks just like any other mass storage device (e.g. a memory stick) and the video files can be viewed and played directly with no need to download. The video files are MOV not MP4 format and consequently are rather large. It takes close to 100MB for each minute of recording (video being separated into 1,3 or 5 minute clips). The SD card must be formatted as FAT32 meaning a maximum SD card size of 32GB (in theory you could user a bigger one but it’s a real pain as MS Windows doesn’t really support it and the device itself will not format bigger than 32GB). A 32GB SD card should give you a little over 5 hours of recording before it loops and starts overwriting the older files. The dash cam starts recording automatically as soon as it receives power and stops a minute or two after the power is removed. So, theoretically, you can just install it and forget it. It’ll start recording when you turn on your ignition and stop when you turn off the ignition. I say “theoretically” install and forget but the manual states that you should reformat the SD card regularly (it recommends every 15 days). It doesn’t have GPS so can’t record your speed or location like more expensive dashcams (but at this price what do you expect?). It does however have a few other “features” such as a “parking guard” and “headlight warning” but let’s be honest, you ain’t going to use them. When giving a star rating it’s only fair to take the price into account, as such I’d happily give it 4 stars. If all you want is something cheap and cheerful that gives you a little reassurance when you’re driving then this could be just what you’re looking for. Video quality, though not brilliant, is easily good enough to give you some useful evidence in the event of an accident. What I particularly like is how discreet it is, hidden behind the rearview mirror you wouldn’t even know it was there.

For whatever reason the initial camera I bought had a couple issues. The seller did agree to replace the item so this is the review it is based on. This is a very neat and compact dash cam, which for me, I particularly like. It does fix directly to your windscreen so that may put some people off, but the camera can be removed from the mount to get access to footage. The lens itself rotates and allows you to he able to adjust where you want to film accordingly (this is where my initial camera failed), plus the quality is stable and clear The screen itself is also small, but to me that's a bit of a bonus, as I wanted something compact that would sit out the way and not look to garish sat on the windscreen. Really easy to setup and the manual is pretty easy to follow. You will need to format the SD card when you buy one. My only real complaint (if I can call it that) is that so many cameras these days come with USB cables as well as 12v cables, or at least an adapter. This only came with a 12v cigarette cable. I did need to buy a USB cable separately, but in all probability, even if it did come with one, I would of needed a longer one to run it the length I wanted it to to hide the wires (pet hate). All in all its a good little device and for the money I really don't think you could go wrong. As for the 'sensor' applications......I a little dubious but would rather not find out if they work or not if that makes sense. For less than £25, its neat, compact, good resolution and not bad build quality. If you want a camera that doesn't sit in the middle of your windscreen looking daft, take a look at this option.

positives: cheap and cheerful dash cam is OK for the price range ideal if you wan compact and discreet. i bought it to use on the back window and seems OK picture quality is pretty good don't expect 4k the 720p and 1080p are just fine it is set to 1080p by default. Negative: motion detection seems pretty pointless on this camera as it only seems to work when the camera has power and is switched on. this seems pointless to me as if its powered on its recording anyway as you are driving motion detection does not work when the camera is off. i would have thought as long as it had charge it would auto automatically record when someone was at the car. That said it does have a gravity sensor that seems to work OK so if someone bumps the car it will record for a few seconds. Overall: for a cheap affordable camera this is a good staring point until you go for a higher range camera.

Edit: Received a message from seller, offering to send me a replacement for the first one. The second one works absolutely fine. I would recommend. Very good communications, and responsive seller. The Camera it self feels fine. Video Quality is good for the price. Easy to fit and setup. However, there is a problem with it. it stops recording once the memory card gets full. It doesn't automatically overwrite the old files to continuously record. You have to format the card every time it gets full for it keep recording which is annoying.

Easy to hide behind your rear view mirror, cable sneaks up under the roof lining and can find its way down to a combined cigarette lighter plug / USB outlet (so you get a bonus USB outlet from your cigarette lighter). Mini USB connection to the power and also to a PC. It is much easier to set it up connected to a PC in the comfort of your home. Simple to keep unplugging it from the car and moving it indoors to use a separate cable to connect to the PC, where it shows up as a drive after you click the camera button to allow it. All adjustments etc are on the camera Sometimes, but not always, it loses the date settings - not essential if its for a major incident but if you are hell-bent on submitting small incidents to your local constabulary via their website, it will need to be right. Micro SD card can be formatted either on the camera or when plugged into the PC, instructions advise to format every two weeks or so - just to be sure It connects quickly with a happy tune to remind you it is recording your driving. Once disconnected there is a delay of about a minute before another happy tune lets you know it has stopped (this is deliberate should your car's power be destroyed by an impact, it will record and save up to and past the incident) Reasonable quality video, worse at night, but certainly enough to show who did what in the event of a dispute

I bought this item because of its compact size. Initially, I was happy with my purchase as the price was reasonable, even though the image quality was just average. However, after a few months, I noticed that the battery was losing capacity. Whenever I left my car for a few days, such as at the airport, the battery would run out and the dash cam would shut down, causing all the settings to be wiped out. I was still able to use the device daily, but after a year, the internal battery completely lost its capacity. It would only hold a charge for around 2 minutes after disconnecting from the charger, and then it would shut down, displaying a "low battery level" warning. When I contacted the seller, I was told that it's impossible to replace the internal battery of the device. Unfortunately, because of these issues, I can't recommend this dash cam as the build quality is very disappointing.

Ich habe die iZEEKER 2,5K Dashcam im Angebot gekauft und finde das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut. Die Kamera ist klein, unauffällig und schnell eingebaut – das 3M-Klebepad hält gut und die Bedienung ist nach kurzer Eingewöhnung unkompliziert. Die Bildqualität würde ich als gut und alltagstauglich beschreiben. Kennzeichen lassen sich in der Regel erkennen, solange es nicht zu dunkel oder stark verregnet ist. Es wirkt allerdings eher wie ein hochskaliertes Bild als „echtes“ 2.5K, aber für den Preis ist das für mich in Ordnung. Die App (Viidure) ist brauchbar: Verbindung aufbauen, Clips ansehen und herunterladen funktioniert bei mir ohne größere Probleme. Die Oberfläche ist nicht perfekt und wirkt an manchen Stellen etwas schlicht, aber für die grundlegenden Funktionen reicht es völlig aus. Praktisch finde ich die verschiedenen Sprachansagen, die sich in der App ein- und ausschalten lassen. So bekommt man Rückmeldung, wenn die Aufnahme läuft oder die Speicherkarte ein Problem hat. Die Parküberwachung und G‑Sensor-Funktionen sind sinnvoll, vorausgesetzt man nutzt das zusätzliche Hardwire-Kit. Was mir noch fehlt, sind mehr manuelle Einstellmöglichkeiten für das Bild, zum Beispiel Helligkeit und Kontrast direkt an der Kamera oder in der App. Die Standardabstimmung ist zwar okay, aber bei sehr hellem oder sehr dunklem Licht hätte ich gerne etwas mehr Spielraum.
