Nice charger fit perfectly for my unit

This does exactly what is intended to do.

This charger was awful from the start. It was slow to charge, would often cause glitches where my surface wouldn't recognize the track pad or the keyboard. If have to disconnect the charger briefly and reconnect to get my keyboard and track pad back to interacting properly with my surface.Then a few days ago while charging, suddenly there was a strong smell and when I came downstairs I discovered the charger had burst open, leaving charred marks on the surge protector and table. Apparently the charger had caught fire and exploded! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Shortly after using this adapter on my Surface Pro 7, I noticed that the track pad responsiveness on my attached Microsoft type cover was bad. It was as if the sensitivity of the pad was dramatically reduced and wouldn't consistently move the cursor as my finger moved across the pad. When I switched back to an OEM power adapter the problem disappeared.

Price was perfect.

It lasted less 8 months; it became dangerously hot when being used for charging after 6-month use. I have to unplug it to avoiding possible blowing up.
