i like
worked very well to start my milling slabs hobby lol. made starting cuts nice and level and even. very easy to use. came with plenty of screws and a decent small level to get it set right. can use them in 2 different ways to make nice even slabs. just make sure you use two premium and straight 2x4s or other pieces and you'll have zero issues

Great Product
I used a chainsaw mill for 2 years without these - don't make the same mistake. These are very inexpensive, easy to install on the log being milled and very easy to toss a couple of 2 X 4's on for a good cut

Did not work for me!
This product is supposed to be for people who are using a chainsaw mill to create perfect boards. These guides are supposed to be placed on top of a log to make sure the first cut is a straight one and square. I found this very difficult to use, and not very reliable as far as the straightness was concerned. You have to use two by fours or other wood that is straight so the dependency upon the wood being straight affected the straightness of the first cut.. It is probably much more simple to use a ladder on the top of your log to get a great first cut on the log. Although this was not an expensive item, it did not do the trick for me.

The included screws are cheap and the first cut is too thick but it does the job.
When you chainsaw mill a tree you need to take a first cut to get a flat surface for the mill to glide across. That is what these brackets do. Fasten one to either end of the log, add a 2x4 to each side and cut your flat surface. The bracket height is pretty tall so the first cut is a lot of loss. Would be good if the brackets were a less tall. If I am going to mill a tree using a chainsaw I want as much lumber as possible. But the biggest gripe is the included screws. I stripped the heads off three trying to mount the brackets. They are cheap. Easily resolved by using deck screws but I have to wonder why a product that is otherwise a quality product, would resort to including cheap screws.

Mouais... Fonctionne mais pas de la qualité. Pour les délais de livraison, rien à redire et le produit commandé est celui reçu.

Works great for chainsaws with a 16" bar or longer. I tried using a ladder but it's too wide for my bar. I bought a couple of straight 2×4×10 footers, because I'm mostly milling 8 footers. This gives me a couple of feet to rest the mill on before I start my cut. Watch a couple of videos and you'll be a busy beaver in no time! Make sure each bracket is level, then set the depth of your saw to miss the bottom ofvthe brackets by an inch or so.
