Careful
This stuff is awesome but VERY potent (do not breathe the ammonia fumes!). Cleaned up a filthy and tarred thurible (eventually). Unlike another review it did NOT attack and disintegrate thin brass. You may need very soiled brass to soak for a while.

Used with cheap ultrasonic cleaner for clock parts and jewellery and it works well and not overpowering odours either.

This definitely softens the dirt and brings the brass back to its shiny original state. May require using metal bristle brushes to help with the shine.
