Catit AiRSiFT Cat Litter Pan, Hooded Litter Box for Indoor Cats, Large

This is by far my favourite litter box, and after trying different options, I can confidently say this one works best for my cats and me. It’s a great size, especially for taller cats, and my cats had no problem using it from day one. The door swings open smoothly, so they can get in and out comfortably without any awkward pushing or struggling. The design is very practical. The carbon filter helps with odours, and the double-jointed door is a brilliant idea because cleaning is much easier. I don’t have to remove the entire top every time—I can simply lift the door and part of the roof to access the tray, which saves time and effort. The only small negative is the top locking system. It feels a little flimsy and can be slightly awkward to close because it slides into place rather than using a simple click system. However, this is a minor inconvenience because I don’t need to open and close the top frequently, so I didn’t feel it was worth reducing the rating. I bought two of these for my cats, and my sister bought one for hers too. We’re both happy with them. The filters do need replacing roughly every month and the official replacements are not the cheapest, but I found alternative filters that work well and are much better value. I would recommend putting a litter mat in front of the box, as with any litter tray, to catch the bits that inevitably escape on cats’ paws. Overall, this is a very well-designed litter box that makes life easier for the owner while keeping cats comfortable. A definite winner in my house—and apparently in my sister’s too.

Since I got my rescue cat, I had him dealing with a small, standard sized litter tray that was becoming a pain as the cat was constantly flicking litter everywhere in his attempts to cover up what he'd left and the mess was getting everywhere and trailing through the house. I saw this at this price and couldn't resist. I was a bit worried at first that my rescue cat Sabbath would steer clear of it due to having been forced into a pet carrier when I adopted him (no choice in the matter really, had to get him home somehow), however, he has no problems with this and seems to prefer it to the other litter tray in the house. I have to say, it's bigger than I expected, which in my case was a blessing Sabbath is a large cat (more like a small dog) and this is definitely roomy enough for him to do his business and move about to cover it up. The door can sometimes make a bit of a clatter when he walks into it (especially at night) but if this bothers you, the door can be removed. The entire lid lifts off, the sides lock into place so that the entire unit can be lifted by a handle at the top. If your pet has never used a hooded litter tray, I recommend flipping the top up (the coloured top with the filter actually lifts up completely and flips back so you can access the inside to scoop out your pet's smelly offerings without having to take the entire lid off) so the cat can get used to the idea. I'd really recommend this product and for the price it is a great buy. Cats really like privacy when going to the bathroom; Sabbath no longer runs and hides in panic in the middle of trying to cover his business (as he used to, almost as if he thought he'd done wrong and had to go hide before he was scolded). Clearly, this offers all the privacy he needs to feel confident enough to do the toilet and find time to hide evidence of it, and I feel confident knowing that he isn't going to accidentally overstep the mark and pee halfway out of the tray, or that his litter isn't going to be sprayed around the room like rice at a registry office wedding. For anyone wondering if the charcoal filter makes a difference, in my opinion it actually does; Sabbath's smelly offerings could make a maggot gag generally and normally I'd have to wrap scarves around my face just to bag the foul faecal matter to rid of it but lately since getting this, I find the smell isn't nearly as rancid as it had been. The only two small issues I can see with the product is that if there is a lot of litter in this, and it can be quite heavy, I would recommend not lifting it by the handle as I don't feel the handle, nor the locks are sturdy enough to support the base with that weight (especially if the litter has been used a fair bit). Really would suggest removing the lid and just carrying it by the sides when going to empty it rather than by handle. The other issue is that the base is so big it takes a fair bit of litter (about 3/4 of a standard bag) to fill and allow enough litter for cover (but on the plus, my local super market sells it at £1.58 a bag so no big deal, and usually the more litter the better as it tends to last longer with a little bit of freshener). All in all, highly recommend. No cat owner should be without at least one of these in their house. Absolute godsend, no cat litter on the carpet any more, less smell, and cat seems happier with his toilet than he was. Love it and am considering getting another for the downstairs hall.

Bought this becasue we have the typical problem of our little boys being a little too enthusiastic when digging and burying. We looked at covered litter boxes in the shops and I thought they were quite small, despite being advertised as "large". We have 2 boys, one is really tall and long (lanky) and one is still a kitten. Our kitten won't be a very big boy but is long haired so having some room helps with tracking; we were hoping this box was a least a little bigger than what we could find as to give them both room. It's MASSIVE. Pleanty of head room for Mr. Lankypants and ample space for the little fluffbutt. I would consider it to be a "jumbo" box, I found it to be quite a bit bigger than even the "jumbo" boxes we saw in the shops. It would definitely best suit bigger kitties, but great for little ones if you have the space. Only 4 stars because it does what it says on the tin, and how much can a human really LOVE a litter box? Only a few criticisms, and only because I feel they may really be helpful for others considering to purchase: 1) the description is a little deceiving, as even with comparing with a measuring tape with the measurments provided it was difficult to gauge the size until it got here. Not a problem for us, BUT this thing is a litter hog, so plan accordingly. I could see the potential to have more litter waste than necessary if you change the whole of the litter regularly (we use clumping natural/wood litter so that helps with the rest getting soiled). 2) Only if I'm being REALLY picky, the locking mechanism can be slightly fiddly as it's a little flimsy, but it's functional. Overall, would recommend.

Horrible. ARRIVAL: It arrives in the biggest bag/sack imaginable which the separate two pieces rattled around in... TRAY: This is made of the flimsiest plastic I have ever seen on a litter tray and the idea of washing it out after a few large poos is a gross one. I needed him to get used to a hooded design as the one he was using was just a box. But Whoa! DESIGN: The door doesn't close and the clip lock feature it raves about hurts your hand to push because of the upraised design on it and also the effort that is entailed with pushing it over. It really caused me stress and then when I had put it together and thought 'well it will have to do for now' along with 'I hope it stays on its box' and 'will this handle ever hold the box if there is litter in it too?' I noted the worst thing of all - POTENTIAL DANGER: The filter is barely held onto the box at all and can be accessed fully from the top where the cat / kitten would jump up to. This rendered it absolutely useless as any playful cat worth its salt would have this out from its truly minimal clipping in a matter of seconds and be eating it instead. RETURN: Frustrated to say the least I decided the box risk was simply not worth it and looked at a return. If you don't have a home office this is impossible - no printer or qr code facility and you are screwed. The idea of being stuck with this box was horrendous as I wanted to replace it with a useable one asap. Luckily the amazon support was able to help me. THE BRAND/ CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE: I NEVER want to buy cat it item again due to the flimsy plastic used (seriously, I know everything gets thinner and less solid but litter boxes? They deal with poo! Let's not skimp on materials used in this particular field). ANY POSITIVES? Other than getting a sturdy awesome replacement from another company at a much cheaper price with covered filter etc? The ONLY positive thing about it is that it is large with a deep tray. I considered using it without the hood but really then it was just a deep tray I could have bought from a garden supplier! Truly horrid useless box and I can tell all this after putting it together and without using it! ADVICE: Don't even get it as a gift for someone ELSE, dammit not even if you don't like them! Their cat is innocent and doesn't deserve the box even if you want to cause the owner the distress!

I invested in a slightly more "sophisticated" cat toilet for my moggy, as she was a dab hand at either flinging copious amounts of cat litter out of the box after going in it or, in the worst cases, missing the box alltogether (a trifle messy!!). In addition to this, we recently moved house and now have to have the cat litter box in the kitchen (I know, not ideal). I was really impressed with the Catit Style Hooded Cat Litter Tray. The delivery was really prompt and I was pleased with the quality of the product. It was sufficently packaged and there were instructions for putting the box together attached to the lid. It's really easy to put together... just put the lid on, fasten the sliding catches (though this is not necessarily a must if you do not plan to lift the litter tray by the handle and move it somewhere else) and then fill with cat litter. There is a transparent cat flap that allows the cats to get in and out of the box easily - and gives them some privacy (which is important to my cat). If your cat doesn't like this feature, you simply flip the lid up onto the top of the box - so the entrance is clear, but the cat still has privacy provided by the roof. It is a good sized litter tray. Millie weighs about 5kg and is quite fluffy and she has plenty of room to move about in the box/tray. Cleaning out the litter tray is easy too. I don't use tray liners, but clean out the tray 1-2 times a day. I hook a plastic bag into the little "catches" at the front of the tray (bottom section). They bag stays open and in place - so you don't end up with dirty litter all over the floor. Clumping litter is brilliant and works well in the litter tray. All in all... a great purchase and fantastic value for money. 5/5 from all the family, 2-legged and 4-legged. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a low odour litter tray for a cat who likes to throw litter out of the box.

I was absolutely delighted with the product at the start, Great size, easy enough to carry and cute looking. My cat loved it! My only issue is that the smell from inside the box is not kept inside the box. I have had litter boxes in the past that have retained the smell a bit better. The flap now is sometimes getting stuck and when the cat pushes through it doesn’t push, I have to be the one to push it. This is a strange one as the flap was fine and the box was never damaged or moved weirdly. It’s not tooo regular that I can’t use it, but the issue is still there and on other better quality box’s this would never have become an issue. I would like to talk about cleaning inside. So my cat I don’t know how but sometimes gets her number 2 on the wall of the box a bit. The material is of the plastic lid on the inside is not smooth, it’s more of a thicker more rough plastic so when cleaning it doesn’t just wipe of like other smooth plastic boxes. I’m just being picky here I really am, I do still use the box but soon I will get a new one, mainly just for the smell and the flap sometimes budging. For the price though, it has lasted me a great time and I definitely did get my value for money. My cat never had a problem with it and seemed to like it a lot. I am still happy that I went for this box compared to others on Amazon, just next time I might go to my own pet shop to get one.

Our 5kg boy was struggling with his previous smaller tray so I knew I needed to find a larger box for him to be comfortable. This one from cat it fits the bill - plenty of room for him to toilet comfortably and turn around inside. The entry lip is quite high so it seems to keep litter inside better than being kicked all over the floor. That said it’s not uncomfortably high for my cat but he is only 2, an older one with mobility issues may struggle. Luckily he’s taken to it well and appreciates the privacy of a covered box but also having a clear flap so he can see outside. I appreciate how the entire front of the box lifts up so it’s easy to see and empty any mess. The clips on the side to lock the lid in are good quality, if a little stiff at first but after a few uses I’m sure they’ll loosen up. Too early to tell whether the airsift filters will keep the odour down, I usually like to empty any mess soon as possible anyway so we’ve never really noticed bad smells. Because of the larger size I expect to go through litter more often, but this is a small price to pay for my cat’s comfort. All in all a good buy, both me and my cat are happy with it. Only improvement I would suggest is that for this price an included scoop would be nice - and the filters work out quite pricey - I’ll have to see if I’m going to bother replacing the one included. My cat just love this litter box. Its big and spaciuos, very well built, the front flap door is amazing, carbon filter works amazing and morever one of the best thing about it is that how easy it is to clean, the flap door just opens all the way up and back so that the litter can be scooped easily. For this price, its absolutely a steal deal . Good job Amazon .

Very sturdy and good looking. We have 2 cats (male and female) and the male is not a fan of it and still uses the uncover litter box (we have 2 in a room) for peeing. He will go in the cover one once in a while but the uncover one is his preference. We had purchased this one for him because he is a high pee sprayer. My female uses this cover one all the time. I guess it depends of the cat. Some like covers and others don't. But overall, it is a good litter box and we purchased one for home and one for our RV. We did not use the little plexiglass door on it as I find the cats did not like being confined and we leave the filter part up also so it geives them a bigger ouverture at the top.

Muy buen producto, ya es el segundo que compro. Tiene muy buen tamaño y algo importante es que la apertura de puerta es total y eso facilita mucho la limpieza del arenero.

J’ai acheté cette litière le 7 août 2025, et honnêtement, je ne m’attendais pas à ce qu’elle soit aussi grande ! C’est une excellente surprise, surtout que j’ai un chat assez grand qui n’était pas toujours à l’aise dans les bacs standards. Là, il y va sans hésiter et semble vraiment plus confortable, ce qui me fait très plaisir. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, surtout quand on compare avec les prix en magasin, qui sont bien plus élevés pour un modèle équivalent. Le système de couvercle relevable est très pratique : on n’a pas besoin de démonter toute la litière pour retirer les selles, ce qui fait gagner du temps et évite d’en mettre partout. Le plastique est solide, les finitions sont bonnes, et l’ensemble est simple à entretenir. En plus, sa taille généreuse aide à limiter les débordements et garde mieux la litière à l’intérieur, même avec un chat énergique. Franchement, je suis ravie de mon achat : mes chats l’adorent, elle est spacieuse, pratique et bien pensée. C’est un produit que je recommande sans hésiter, surtout si vous avez un chat de grande taille ou plusieurs félins à la maison !

Finalmente è arrivata integra. Buona alla seconda, ma ne valeva la pena!!.. unico difetto sono le chiusure laterali un pochino deboli,ma non incidono sulla funzionalità. Molto spaziosa e luminosa. Bella la porticina in plastica trasparente come un vetro, cosìché i mici possono.vedere al di fuori della lettiera ed entra luce. Il gatto si sente meno costretto in questa lettiera perché è molto alta , adatta per gatti adulti e di stazza importante. Promossa! . La consiglio !!
