Aveeno Moisturizing Bar For Dry Skin, 3.5 Oz ( Pack of 2 )

I am using this as a alternative to Oilatum soap, Very pleased as my skin is sensitive to every day soaps. Smells wheaty out of the box but when used the odour does not transfer to the body. Its worth a try as i have no dry patches or signs of irritation after several months of use.

I suffer from moderate eczema in the Autumn/Winter and this year wanted to try and anticipate it rather than wait until it was too late, so I tried out this (non) soap bar after reading some good reviews, along with Aveeno Shower Oil and the Moisturising Creamy Oil. While I'm still starting to notice the first signs of trouble and am not convinced that eczema is fully controllable by soap alone, there is definitely a noticeable improvement in my skin in general so far, and I'd certainly buy all three products again. The best thing to me is that, compared with similar products, Aveeno doesn't smell like chemicals or anything too offensive - the sweetness of the oatmeal is soothing and uplifting. They also feel very good to use, the soap bar especially as it has a nice, slightly rough feel to it, which is again important to me after years of battling it out in the shower with harsh emollients and detergent based prescription treatments - ugh! Never again that horrific mainstream stodge!

item arrived as stated. really pleased with the service. I have nearly used the second soap and it feels great on the skin. I don't have eczema but wanted to try this product as I really like the aveeno range. It's fantastic in keeping the skin moisturised. My son has had eczema and now only has dry skin, he says it is really good for him. so great for all the family, try using the aveeno body lotion straight after the bath also. I would recommend this product.

I've got dry sensitive skin so I thought I'd give this soap a try. I usually use shower gel or cream. There is no fragrance in this soap and is kind to the skin. I will continue with this soap

My mother made me use oat mix on my face instead of soap and as time went on Aveeno became available. So much easier than having to mix and perfect for skin. Even when I remove makeup I wash amediatly with Aveeno. I'm 73 years old but everyone thinks I'm in my early 50s. Best way to keep it after use is put it back in the box space facing up to cause the Aveeno from getting too soft.

I don’t usually do well with bar soaps as I would find them drying or make my body feel hard after using them. The feeling of water slapping onto a leather after using the soap. But THIS Aveeno soap was excellent! No irritation, I felt softness and my body basically agreed with it. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a lot of toxic ingredients. I love it and will definitely buy it again.

At first i was pleased with this as the aveeno dry skin body wash had worked well for my eczema afflicted self. After a while I'm getting issues with dry and irritated skin between my fingers due to eczema. This has not worked as well as Lush's Honey I Washed the Kids or the Oilatum dry skin soap bar (available on amazon). It's probably better than most basic soaps for dry skin/eczema sufferers but you could do a lot better with the others I've mentioned. One thing I've noticed is that the soap bar actually feels really rough and coarse in the hands, which seems a bit suspect with it supposedly being for sensitive/dry skin. Maybe i got sent an exfoliating one by mistake? It's a got a good neutral non perfumed kind of scent if you don't want to smell a bit girly, it beats the gross rose granny scent of the oilatum one in that regard. It lathers up really well and is this far lasting quite well.

Soap is very good

Sapone piuttosto caro ma vale la pena. Lo utilizzo per il viso ed è molto delicato. Va bene per pelli intolleranti e delicate. Ci sono dei periodi che ho la pelle delle mani screpolata ed è l'unico sapone che posso utilizzare che non me le fa arrossare.

Great for dry, itchy skin. It leaves your skin feeling very soft. I wish I had discovered this moisturizing bar earlier in my life.
