This is a lovely little unit that works extremely well in the classroom. The red laser pointer is a good bonus that can be used at work and also playing with the cats at home. The battery life is good helped by the on/off switch. The unit feels great although one small gripe is that I put it into the supplied bag in my pocket between classes and because of the ergonomic shape it keeps slipping out, I'm concerned I may lose the USB receiver. I would like to see a place I can clip the receiver in when not in use i.e. under the battery cover, and also the addition of soft rubber grip to make it less slippery. There may then be no need for the bag.

Easy to set up, easy to use, reliable doesn't loose connectivity

Simple to work and really easy to use. I bought one of these for myself and my friends so that we could change slides in different lessons. Really easy to set up. All you have to do is plug and play. It needs one AAA battery which lasts ages plus you can turn it on and off, using the switch at the side. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because when my stage partner and I were using our clickers at the same time, sometimes my clicker would link to her laptop and change the slides of her lessons, whilst I was in a different room next door. This could be solved by ensuring each remote is successfully linked to each laptop beforehand however at times when I was changing my slides, this would also change her slides next door but for the price it is a great product and does the job. If I had one request, it would be that this remote has a function to pause and play videos opposed to just changing slides and blurring the screen. It would be a massive help while showing video content during lessons, if you were able to pause and discuss with pupils then play, opposed to going back to the screen or the computer. The remote doesn’t seem to have that function, but again as I have said in previous reviews, you usually get what you pay for.

Broke after three weeks the laser only sporadically works, feels very cheap and flimsy in the hand, would likely shatter if dropped.

I bought this to use in my classes and it lasted less than an hour before jamming irreparably mid-lecture. So, I had to send it back. However, other colleagues have bought them and had no issue (hence why I had ordered mine).
