Cons: Within a few uses the closure tab fell off and there was a hole in the top. Pros: Fair price and you can see where you're going. It's not suitable for serious weather, but it's a nice, cute umbrella.

We bought a pair of these umbrellas for our October 2023 wedding and were lucky enough to not need them for the day. They have been very well used day to day ever since and are now finally in need of replacing (mostly because our small children are obsessed with them). They are the best umbrellas we've ever owned - windproof, rainproof, easy to put up and down, a nice size. Genuinely sad to say goodbye to them but I've chosen to buy them again.

The umbrella is flimsy and dosnt feel like it will survive very long. The plastic handle is so thin it is almost transparent itself. Honestly it feels like it should cost arround £6. So if it is on offer for arround that and you really want the novelty of a see-through umbrella it might be worth it. Just don't expect it to last long.

I love this transparent umbrella. I purchased it for our wedding since our wedding was in December, but it only ended up drizzling so we didn’t need it, but I do like to use it at home to take the dogs out when it’s raining. It’s great for when it’s windy as well because you can put it close to your head and still see so you’re not getting rain blown in your face. It’s exactly as described and we would’ve been happy to use it in wedding photos if we needed to!

We bought this umbrella for photos right after he proposed in front of the most gorgeous waterfall, and it honestly made the pictures feel magical. I’ve always loved the look of clear umbrella photos, and this one was perfect. It was sturdy, but still lightweight enough to maneuver around easily. We had to hike to get to the waterfall and even went through water with it, and it held up great. A lot of clear umbrellas I looked at had a white or colored fabric strip around the bottom, which I didn’t find as cute for photos, but this one is fully clear all the way around, which looks so much cleaner and prettier in pictures. It also has the adorable long tip at the top that gives it that classic “bubble umbrella” look. It opened and closed very smoothly and never felt flimsy. If you’re looking for an umbrella that looks cute in photos (rain or shine), this is an amazing option. It’s inexpensive but adds SO much to pictures. Zur Info: Seit ca. 4 Wochen in regelmäßigem Einsatz, auch bei stärkerem Wind. Einen Regenschirm von Amazon Basics zu kaufen war für mich ehrlich gesagt ein Zufallsfund – mein alter Schirm hatte den Geist aufgegeben und ich wollte schnell Ersatz. Inzwischen würde ich einen Schirm von Amazon Basics jederzeit wieder kaufen, und zwar bewusst. Verarbeitung & Qualität: Was mich am meisten überrascht hat, ist das Qualitätsgefühl. Das transparente Material ist angenehm dick und stabil – kein billiges Knistern oder Durchschimmern von Rissen nach wenigen Nutzungen. Das Gestell hält auch bei böigem Wind gut stand; ich hatte ihn bereits in einem kräftigen Stadtschauer dabei, ohne dass sich eine einzige Speiche verdreht hätte. Der Griff liegt sicher in der Hand, auch wenn man nasse Finger hat. Geruchslosigkeit – ein Vorteil: Wer schon einmal einen günstigen Plastikschirm ausgepackt hat, kennt den unangenehmen, beißenden Kunststoffgeruch, der sich manchmal sogar in der Tasche hält. Bei diesem Schirm: nichts davon. Kein Geruch beim Auspacken, kein Geruch nach dem ersten Regen – das klingt selbstverständlich, ist es bei dieser Preisklasse aber leider nicht immer. Größe: Die mittlere Größe ist für eine Person ideal. Kein unnötiges Schleppen und ohne sperrig zu wirken. Fazit: Für den Preis bekommt man hier einen Schirm, der qualitativ mit deutlich teureren Modellen mithalten kann – geruchlos, robust, und mit dem schönen Nebeneffekt, dass ein Regentag durch das transparente Material buchstäblich etwas heller wirkt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
