A very solid and sturdy ironing board with a variety of heights to suit. From the moment you pick this up you can tell its a quality ironing board. The sturdy frame is made of the good stuff and should last a very long time if not a lifetime (well its guaranteed for 10 years). This was the second ironing board with the steam unit holder i bought so thought I would get this slightly more expensive item this time to see what the difference was. I must say this is much nicer, convenient and practical to use and no more drips of steam onto the floor, dry floor Yipee Yipee, The board surface area is excellent giving a generous amount of ironing space to use. This coupled with the steam unit rest (which is ridged to stop irons dropping off) allows for hassle free ironing chores, allowing you to accomplish ironing tasks much easier and quicker. The supplied ironing cover is great and irons will simply glide over it without the usual friction of some other covers I have used, and really does help speed up the ironing process immensely. The height level of the board can be adjusted to a number of different settings, so accommodating different sitting or standing positions with ease.

I have been impressed by the large ironing surface which helps get through bedding and linens really quickly. My previous ironing board used to get soaked through using a steam generator iron. This steam control cover is effectively diverting steam to help remove creases and to hold condensed droplets in the core. I have only given four stars for the ‘lightweight’ category but it is sturdy and robust enough to hold a 2.5 litre steam generator iron with complete stability. All in all an excellent product. Pity I didn’t get the one I ordered from Amazon. The board I ordered ‘disappeared’ in transit after leaving the delivery depot. I bought this one from John Lewis. It arrived the next day. Thank you for the refund.

This board is really well made but it is not for the faint hearted ! It is a big, big board which, due to its sturdy construction, weighs a lot - I thought that I was relatively strong but it challenges me in terms of moving it and then putting it up ! Having "erected" it, there is a lot of area on which to iron your clothes and sheets. Not brill for men's shirts as you do not really have a point at the end of the Board to do the tricky bits. I also found that the cover creases in areas regardless of adjusting it, which makes it annoying at times. Overall, a fantastic ironing board, just don't buy one for your Gran !

We have have had Brabantia ironing boards for many years, and have always found Size B to be the most versatile. I bought this one to replace an older one after one of my (long-haired) cats - which seemingly like the height of these things - brought up a particularly messy hairball on it. Courtesy of Amazon's dynamic pricing, it actually worked out only marginally more expensive to buy a new ironing board than to replace the cover and padding. Beyond that it's just an ironing board, but it's very well made, is sturdy, and should last many years ... cats permitting (though we no longer leave it standing once the ironing is done).

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading a variety of reviews but I have to say I am delighted with this ironing board. I have never had problems with puddles on the floor because I use a standard steam iron which does the job well. I don't think puddles on the floor can be the fault of the ironing board but must be from badly leaking irons, however this is just my thoughts on it. This is a fantastic ironing board and is extremely stable. I was particularly pleased with how low the board can come down because I have disabilities and have to sit whilst ironing, it is perfect for me. At the same time my husband, who is six foot tall can easily set it up for his standing height too. This is the best board I have ever owned and, because it is so wide, makes ironing so much easier for me.

I know it's sad when you can get excited about an ironing board, and probably tells me I need to get out more, but this really is the best ironing board I've ever owned! It feels incredibly sturdy and well made and the large surface area is fantastic with just the right amount of softness. The legs lock safely into place when it's closed and it's not too heavy. I bought it after buying a steam generator iron and deciding I needed the extra space to balance the iron, which it does perfectly. It's not a cheap board but definitely worth the money.

I needed a new ironing board as i have a steam machine and water was dripping through my old one. After reading the reviews i decided to purchase this one , i am so glad i did ! Lovely big ironing surface with a stand for my machine so it doesnt take up space on the board , a soft cover that seems to hold the garments in place making ironing a breeze Some reviews say it is heavy but i didnt find it too bad, it is a bit bulky but a small price to pay for such a great sturdy product Dont hesitate to buy this , you wont be disappointed

. This ironing board is fairly easy to fold out and fold away. I like the tray for a steam generator iron. The cover is very good at preventing condensation underneath. The cover lets steam pass through. After an hour of ironing the cover does get wet at the end and if left wet it could start to go mouldy. Therefore I prefer to iron little and often rather a long session but seldom. Also, the technology inside Philips steam generator irons needs a fairly dry ironing board cover to function well. I found that water comes out of the sole plate when the cover becomes too wet. The cover is designed in cooperation with Philips. This is a really good quality ironing board and one of the best available.

ACHTUNG : was die Lieferung betrifft .......... Überzug war beschädigt angekommen.Kleines Loch und an der Seite angerissen.Es wurde in einem Überdimensionalen ( 2,5 x3 Meter !!!!! ) Karton geliefert. Ich habe solch ein großes Karton von Amazon noch nie gesehen! Durch den Hausflur durch.....unmöglich! Der Karton war an allen ecken beschädigt! Lese und höre immer wieder von sehr großen Beschädigungen, hatte ehrlich gesagt bedenken, da das Bügelbrett NUR von Brabandia in einer dünner Folie ummantelt war. Das Gestellt hatte Gott sei dank nichts, deshalb haben es behalten und neuen Überzug bestellt. Bin ehrlich, Bestellen würde ich es bei Amazon nicht nochmal. Falls Sie das Bügelbrett bestellen möchten, denken Sie daran das die Verpackung Katastrophe ist und die Zusteller damit unmöglich umgehen. Das Bügelbrett an sich Top. Die Höhe kann man einstellen, geht sehr hoch, die Station von Philips (GC9642/60 PerfectCare Elite ) liegt wunderbar auf der Ablage, passt sehr gut . Es wackelt nicht beim Bügel , durch den dampf entstanden falten in dem Überzug , später wurden sie wieder glatt. Kein tropfen auf dem Boden, allerdings sammelt sich Feuchtichkeit unter dem Stoff, da drunter so ne art Folie ist deshalb kann das Wasser nirgendwo hin. Wenn ich länger gebügelt habe, habe ich das Bügelbrett länger stehen gelassen, damit es trocknet. Beschichtung des Gestelles empfindlich, haben selber ein Kratzer schon gemacht. Würde wieder kaufen aber nicht bei Amazon.

Eigentlich sollte man für den Amazon Service 3 Sterne abziehen dieses Mal, da Sonntags bestellt per Prime Account mit Lieferdatum Montag Abend. Zustellung Mittwoch. Für diese Geschwindigkeit braucht es keinen Prime Account. Aber was kann der Artikel dafür... Das Bügelbrett selbst habe ich bestellt in Kombination mit einem Pihilips Azur Advanced und diese Kombi ist super. Der Bügelbrettbezug an sich ist straff und verrutschsicher gespannt und gut gepolstert. Feuchtigkeit nach Dampfbügeln konnte ich an der Unterseite nicht feststellen. Vorteil für mich mit 1,92m Körpergröße ist auch das man es höher stewllen kann als mein altes. So ist das Bügelgefühl deutlich komfortabler. Beim Auf und Ab-bau hat man schon den Eindruck, dass es sich hier um ein Premium Bügelbrett handelt. Das ganze Gestell fühl sich sehr wertig an. Es wackelt nichts. Sehr zufrieden! Hat sich gelohnt ein paar Euro drauf zulegen und nicht zum Supermarkt Bügeltisch zu greifen. Die Größe ist optimal für Bügeleisen. Für Bügelstation bitte eine Nummer größer, da dann auch die Ablage Bügelstationsgerecht ist.

Sobre todo resaltar lo estable que es y que tiene mucho espacio de trabajo. El soporte para el centro de vapor también está muy bien: metálico y resistente. Por decir algunas cosas que yo mejoraría: una bandeja inferior para dejar cosas. Para dejar la mini tabla para mangas, lo he suplido con los ganchos que tiene la tabla por debajo para regular la altura. De ahí la he colgado. Ruedas no tiene, pero en mi caso no es molestia porque la dejo siempre abierta y preparada, no la pliego y la guardo en ningún armario. La funda que trae ya viene puesta. Está muy bien, la ropa se desliza sin problema y no he visto que gotee nada. Tampoco me hace arrugas. En la etiqueta de la plancha viene una muestra de la composición por capas de la funda. Es curioso cómo está hecha la parte mullida, como con celdas en 3D. Por último, también mejoraría que la parte final de la tabla fuese más estrecha aún, un poco más afilada porque, como la tabla que he escogido es el tamaño más ancho, algunas prendas no entran bien. De hecho, a veces me pregunto si no hubiera hecho bien en comprar el tamaño inferior, el de 38 cm si no recuerdo mal. Claro que para sábanas encimeras, toallas y manteles es perfecta así. Como sugerencia extra pediría que incorporase algún sistema para elevar el "cable" y que no arrugue la ropa. Ya le he puesto un chisme que tenía de la otra plancha pero no es tan fuerte como necesitan estos cables tan gruesos de los centros de vapor y tampoco se sujeta bien el cable por lo que digo que son mucho más gruesos y no entra por el soporte. Con celo lo he sujetado pero sería perfecto que viniese de serie con el tamaño y la resistencia adecuados.

The ironing board is so great. Size perfect and very stable. I am having problems with the cover. There are big creases in the bottom of the smart triple-layer PerfectFlow cover and when you iron they imprint on clothes you are ironing. You can see from photo it’s uneven on the top. Not sure what to do other than buy a new cover. Can you please advise??

La table est très stable. Elle peut monter relativement haut ce qui est parfait pour éviter le mal de dos lorsque l'on repasse car plus besoin de se pencher . La housse répond également aux attentes on voit que la vapeur traverse réellement le tissus est absorbée. Aucune goutte d'eau à terre après 2h de repassage à pleine vapeur !!! Excellente table seul regret j'aurai du opter pour un modèle plus large je me suis laissée séduire par la technicité de la housse.
