Straplocks are a definite must have for any guitar player of any level. The locks take about ten minutes to assemble, provided you have the right equipment, if not, it's still possible, but takes a bit longer.I love these because I now know that I can play without worrying that my guitar might fall off.The locks are very secure, they're certainly not going to come off, unless there's some sort of nuclear explosion.The item arrived on the first day that it said it might arrive (Wed-Fri, it came on Wed)Overall, a great product, and I would recommend this to anyone playing the guitar (electric, acoustic or bass)

Ever since my prized Fender Precision nosedived onto a concrete patio I have been fitting this make of strap lock to every instrument I own. One part goes on the guitar, and the other fits to the strap. Never had one disconnect accidentally or fail in any way. Release is quicker than a standard button and strap. Just press the button in the middle of the strap side fitting. Note also that you can also use an ordinary strap on the guitar button.Also check out the gold finish version.

Been using these for years on some pretty expensive guitars - I simple won't use anything else.

I've had Schaller style straplocks for half my life. If the nut comes undone on them the strap falls off and the guitar comes crashing down. These fail safe as the fastening is on the inside. The worst that can happen is you lose a fitting when the strap is detatched. The mechanism uses a cam action so very little force is required to operate, unlike the pure spring operated Schaller items, which are hard to remove with sweaty fingers.

Every guitarist is different, as is every guitar, but without exception I always use Dunlop straplocks. I know that sounds like some soft sales pitch but after playing live and throwing them around practice rooms I know my guitars are safe. They securely hold the strap on and are much quicker to release than other types. Plus the variety of colour means they complement the hardware nicely.

Fitted to an Ibanez S Series guitar. The screw parts were a bit too long and the guitar needed a bit of drilling. Once fitted they are essential.

Probably the best strap lock available on the market! The push/lock system is very well made and easy to use when you need to remove it quickly without worrying about the safety of your guitar.**The only negative point that I can flag is about the installation. The ''C clamp lock'' are very difficult to place and if your strap is not thin as mine was, it will be a lot more difficult. You have to take your time and do it well. In my case, I used a plate screw driver to help pushing the C clamp and it did the job pretty well.Once it installed, I guarantee that these's strap lock are the best you'll have for your instrument because they are solid/well made and can't loose as the C clamp is cliped there and so it don't depend on a nut screwed as some other strap lock model have. Personnaly, I have tried many model of strap lock for my guitar and these are definitely my favorite.
