I bought this to style a synthetic wig for a cosplay, I was looking for something with adjustable temperatures and thinner plates. As someone who used straighteners regularly as a teen, this felt SO much more convenient - heated up quickly, auto shut-off was helpful, came with a heat glove, really got close to the roots and made nice curls thanks to the thin plates. The lowest temperature still does a great job without as much risk of burning.I used this for about 3 hours at a time for two days, so I can't speak to it's lifespan. For the price though I think it's 100% worth it, I highly recommend using it for synthetic cosplay wigs as well on the lowest setting. It comes with a bag and locks itself closed for easy storage too, it's not too bulky so it's easy to store with my other craft stuff. Honestly didn't expect much from this, so I'm happy! 4/5 since I can't address the lifespan right now ofc.

I love this flat iron. It's very easy to use. I have NO skill at hair styling so I need tools that a novice can use. Recently, I got a very short haircut after decades of shoulder/chin length hair. I had no idea what to do with the baby hair around my ears and at the nape of my neck. THIS flat iron makes it super easy to tame that hair without burning myself in the process. I was also able to add definition to the rest of my hair with ease. This iron makes me feel like a professional--and I love the cute style that it helps me create. 10/10 +++++!

This is a superior product! I have been using a run of the mill mini flat iron on my bangs for a while and it did the job fine, but after using this i cannot go back. Even the lowest heat is more than enough..the pencil point is so precise and much easier to work sections of the hair with. The heated plates are top quality, no drag on the hair. 10/10 recommend for fine thin hair

it's so good, but be aware when you set it to the highest temp.. quite too hot. but it get right in the thin tiny hairline .. and makes the look much cooler!
