What a GREAT little sharpener!! I think with some of the reviews, they are not holding their pencil up straight. This little sharpener works like a dream, just make sure it's in the sharpener straight.

This battery-powered pencil sharpener is very convenient and gets pencils super sharp. It’s perfect if you only need to sharpen one or two pencils at a time. However, it's not ideal for heavy use. If you have to sharpen dozens of pencils, be prepared to apply a lot of pressure, which can cause some finger strain. It gives a very sharp point, though some pencils seem to have a bit of trouble sharpening, which might be due to the pencil's quality rather than the sharpener itself. It’s also nice that it has an automatic/manual option on the side, making it easy to switch between modes. The unlock symbol for the shaving compartment is on top and you just twist it in your desired direction. After sharpening 24 pencils, the batteries are still holding up well. It’s a great product on its own, just know its limitations.

This little sharpener is amazing. It is very powerful and fast. I recommend it bc it sharpens a variety of styles of pencils.

It's so convenient, I'm ordering it for my granddaughter. She loves cute, useful things, and they always sit on her desk. Her pencils are always in order, and she can do math problems without any hassle.

Works great on regular no. 2 pencils but not on color pencils. Does not sharpen color pencils to a nice point and you have to press hard to get the color pencils to any kind of point. Will only use for the regular no. 2 pencils.

Works great! It took me a minute to figure out how to get the batteries in, but that was on me. The speed and noise level are both decent—if anything, it’s just a little on the slower side. It seems sturdy and well-made, though it does fill up pretty quickly with pencil shavings.

Da ich gerne Bleistift-Zeichnungen anfertige, ist ein funktionierender Anspitzer ein Muß. Der Aogwat hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Ich benutze ihn nur manuell und nicht mit Batterie-Unterstützung. Die Klinge schneidet mit Leichtigkeit durch das Bleistift-Holz und formt eine sehr gute Spitze.
