tesa Insect Stop COMFORT for Windows - Window Screen with Self-Adhesive Hook & Loop - Insect Mesh - in White, 130 cm x 150 cm

I can't believe how easy this was to install! I really thought that, as it was so simple, it couldn't possibly be effective, but it is! I have been plagued by insects in the past (especially wasps) and to watch the little so-and-sos bouncing off the mesh is a joy! I usually have the window wide open but, when it was raining heavily recently, I wanted to close it and found that, gently peeling the mesh from one corner upwards, it was very easy to remove and close the window. When I wanted it open again and the mesh in place, it was just as easy to do so. The tool provided makes a perfect seal. I strongly recommend this produce. RCL

I am so pleased I got this. I love having my window open at night but won't because I don't like insects flying around at night. Now it is open and I can have the fresh air that I love. I also put it on my daughter's window. She is terrified of spiders coming in and this stops them, especially as you can spray it with lemon oil to deter them too. The white colour matches my window frames and the wider velcro style tape is much better than any others I have tried. It really sticks well and stays. The mesh is easy to see through, but snags a bit each time I open the window, so I imagine I may have to replace it after a period of time, although, I mat attach a piece of loop velcro to the mesh to attach to the hook where the handle is to stop pulling on the mesh. A great purchase.

I've been using this, along with both official and generic replacement nets, for about 4 years now. The good bits: - it's easy enough to fit, takes about 10 mins - as long as the surface you apply the velcro to is clean, it attaches well and stays put (I haven't had to replace the velcro in 4 years, though it's getting rather dirty and I can't figure out how to clean it) - it stops all the larger insects (say 2mm mosquitos on up) The bad bits: - it rips quite easily, so figure on replacing the netting every summer (though the generic nets are just as good and significantly cheaper, be wary of their velcro though if you need to replace it) - it doesn't stop the smaller (say <~2mm) insects, like midges Both the bad points can be negated by replacing the netting with a finer version, and just keeping the velcro from this. Fine Mesh Mosquito Midge Netting Fine Weave White Insect Netting (mm34) is a far finer net, attaches to the velcro just fine, and seems to be a bit stronger too (see photo). So if small insects annoy you, use the velcro from this but replace the net with a better version.

I just love this product, I lived in a very small hot flat and had to leave the windows open, but bees kept getting inside. I don't do flies so needed this product. It was extremely easy to set up and the mesh stays stuck to the tape provided. I have now moved out of the flat and taken the mesh with me. The only thing I need to reorder is the tape, but I am currently using the mesh now and it is benign help with some really strong trouble sided tape. Great little investment.

it is ok, does the work but could be stronger net as it come off from the window very often.

This is amazing! I bought it so I could keep my bedroom windows open at night and not have a load of bugs flying in. It's very easy to put together, you just measure out the Velcro tape and then press the netting into the Velcro and you're done! It keeps a breeze coming in and you can still see out the window. My only concern is it might be a little tricky to take down if you want to close the windows (mine open outwards) so definitely make sure you're planning to keep them open for a long time when you put the netting up. I will make sure to buy this every year for summer

My 16 years old son put it on his window perfectly and he is really happy with it. No more bugs or creepy crawlies...

Very simple and effective, sticks well and I feel much better about having my windows open at night now without fear of bugs or spiders coming in. Took one star off as the net does stretch and tear slightly were I have to keep unsticking it to open and close my windows.
