This pocket sized dust blower is definitely among the smaller ones I've seen that are silicone. Back in the days there are often small whoopy cushion shaped ones that really don't do much, and have mostly disappeared over time... and now there's this. It does a lot better than those old portable models, but it naturally falls far behind in effectiveness compared to a full sized dust blower. The blower itself has a more rectangular or elliptical cross section, meaning that one side is longer than the other. The conventional wisdom would be to then squeeze against the thinner side, and while this works the air it blows out will be quite a bit weaker than a normal round blower. However, if you squeeze against the thicker side you can get a much stronger burst of air that is still weaker than conventional dust blowers, but far more useful. This, in short, is the way I would recommend using this. You get a functional but smaller sized dust blower, and the soft tip also makes it not only safer against your lens but just generally even more portable. The caveat is simply that... since larger silicone dust blowers (with soft tips) are also just made of silicone, which means you can crumple them up, are you actually saving that much space? In reality, yes, but depending if you have anything to keep it crumpled up, this smaller blower can still be significantly smaller. Especially if you crumple this one smaller too. Overall, I think it's a fair tradeoff. If you need the absolute space saving, this makes a fair dust blower to travel with for instance, and best used in combination with a lens cleaning pen.

This dust blower is made from silicon. It is very soft, durable, and comfortable to hold. The size is compact, very portable. The lanyard is a good addition to let me conveniently carry this blower without dropping it. The air pressure is good. It can kick dust away effectively. The ergonomic design makes this blower easier to grab and press. However, this design cause a big issue. If I press on the 2 flat sides, which is how this design encourage me to do, the air refill is very very slow. The structure of this blower does not have strong rebound strength. If I press on the other round side, the air refill is a lot quicker. So this ergonomic design actually makes this blower a lot less effective. I have to wait for a long time for the air refill. Overall, the materials and air pressure of this blower is good. The idea behind the ergonomic design is nice. But that in fact destroy the speed of the air refill. It does not matter on how many refill holes. The design makes this blower less effective.
