Good quality strings at a reasonable price, made a really noticeable difference to the tone from my squire strat from the original strings.

Really great sounding strings. Got them tuned half step down and keeps tuning very well. Great tone and easy to slide/shred with. Good value for money and perhaps my favourite strings to use for heavy riffs. Definitely recommend

The D’addario XL nickel strings feel good when first on bright but not over, so good all rounders for most styles. I find they are slow to degrade in comparison to many brands and hold tuning well with less stretching required.This gauge is comfortable to play and again a good workhorse for most styles of playing, though I recommend trying varied gauges if your new to guitar, ad your never know what may suit you but these are a good starting point for many.

I've tried many different brands such as Curt Mangan, Ernie Ball, Everly B-52s, GHS, Gibson all of which are relatively well-priced but have a very obviously short life.I must say that there are times when using this set of D'Addario EXL125 strings, I sort of wonder why I bothered at all because at the fraction of the cost compared to so many up-market brands, the string life and delivery of tone from the D'Addarios is actually consistent and good. Do not expect "breath-taking" tone, which, also depends heavily on your guitar and playing ability ;)Having a rather heavy hard-rock rhythm right hand coupled with a desire for wild bluesy bends, I chose this gauge to suit my style which covers anything from blues, country to jazz and rock and roll. I use these strings with a tele, strat, an SG and a firebird VII: all sounding good.If you're tired of mucking around with experimenting or struggling to afford expensive strings which claim to last longer, just remember this: it actually helps to just wipe down your strings after playing. After all, strings are made of metal and they WILL rust no matter how expensive or boutique the make.Just bear in mind that the strings wraps of the EXL 125s are NICKEL-PLATED instead of PURE NICKEL, hence the cheaper price. It is misrepresentation of some sorts, but: I've been using this set for about 2 weeks, approximately 2-3hrs playing time per day and they are still alive, and I expect them to last for another 2 more weeks of playing.

I love the feel of these strings! Especially when a fresh set is put on my guitar 🎸Great quality strings that last for ages and sound fantastic!Can't go wrong with these. They are my go too set.I'd like to try the NYXL strings some time as it's said they are a bit more durable and give better tone but I'm entirely satisfied with these for the moment. I don't really snap a lot of strings as I'm not really a rough player.

I recently bought these D'Addario XL 9.5-44's instead of a lifetime (35yrs) of using 10's. Although I had hoped to purchase NYXL's, none were available as a 3 pack. These strings sound great so far, (only put them on to be fair) and due to not doing the rock/metal covers as I used to, I'm confident they will keep that way for longer.The price reduction offer of a 3-pack was welcome.
