I have 5 of these now in my kitchen. They are very useful for holding hot pans and oven dishes. The folding mechanism makes them very versatile as they can be adapted and combined to fit different sized dishes and trays. They fold away small so can be stored neatly in the pan draw. Easy to wipe clean.

Fold to store in a drawer and easy to 'deploy'. Seems to be pretty good quality.

These are great and compact to store between use.

Placed on worktops beside the cooker this allows one to place hot ovenware and hot pans on to the silicone, protecting the worktop from burns. Folds up small saving space and can be stored away in a drawer when not in use. Easy to wash and keep clean . Love this gadget. Have two and find them extremely useful as can be used anywhere where need to place hot objects. Always using them.

Incredibly simple design but very effective. Fold up so easy to store

I bought this mainly to place hot dishes from the oven onto the countertop or on the glass induction hob (when not in use). I’ve had this for a year and it’s still in perfect condition. The compact design opens and folds easily. It extends large enough for an over tray but you can also open it partially for smaller pans. Perfect to store in the cutlery drawer (which is where I keep mine). An essential for any kitchen – but particularly smaller kitchens where space might be limited. Excellent value for money.

Was dubious about this hot pan support. Does job brilliantly. Can hold 2 pots if pulled yo maximum length. Folds away so discreetly, it is great. Brilliant design and quality, so clever to manufacture something so stylish and practical. Thank you.

Love this little gadget. Got a few of them and take small space to store but so useful. One of the best Joseph Joseph inventions.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from the description and picture...but, you can actually expand this out enough to just barely hold two 10" items! The design is pretty cool in general; as my subject alludes to, I'm not much of a cook, but this is "the item" that I use when I need to put something hot on the counter, without risking burns. There aren't many other cooking implements I use nearly every day! Placing two 10" items on it is literally a bit of a stretch (since it gets quite narrow if you do so), but it DOES hold multiple items if you need it to. And it collapses down to taking very little space when you don't need it to hold stuff. As far as heat insulation, this product is excellent. I've heated up a cast iron pan to 600+°F and placed it on this just fine, with no discoloration or damage!

Dieser Untersatz ist einfach praktisch. Klein versorgt, bis sehr lange ausziehbar, wird nicht heiss und man verbrennt sich daran nicht die Finger, ist besser als alle Metalluntersätze die ich bisher hatte

This trivet takes up no room, expands to hold a lasagna tray, and works great! Highly recommend!
