Spoof on Black Hawk DownChristmas in Canada is where Ike gets taken out of the country to go back to Canada,the prime minister is changing all the rules but it turns out to be Saddam hiding in a spider hole.Woodland Critters is Cartmans story of Christmas where the critters are Satanic and it gets crazier. The entire dvd is funny and full of oldschool classics and newer episodes but they are all holiday episodes. Fans of South Park will love it & so will newcomers,get a taste of the oldschool stuff. The cool thing would be an all Halloween dvd.

It's South Park, so if you like South Park you will like this.

Glad to have all the great Christmas episodes on 1 disc. The DVD contains 7 episodes: 1. Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo, 2. Merry Christmas Charlie Manson, 3. Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics, 4. A Very Crappy Christmas, 5. Red Sleigh Down, 6. It's Christmas in Canada, and 7. Woodland Critter Christmas. The only episode I don't like is It's Christmas in Canada, because the Canadians are just annoying in South Park. Still, I love the format for the DVD case and how it looks. My favorite episodes are Mr. Hankey the Christmas poo, Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics, and Woodland Critter Christmas. The other episodes besides "Canada" are good and funny. This is a great DVD release and if you love South Park, you should pick this up. It's a lot easier to watch the Christmas episodes without switching discs. There is just a lot I love about this DVD and it's definitely worth picking up.

This is one great show. I never ever watched it before this year. My father-in-law started buying the seasons one by one & every time we went down to visit we would watch some of them. I got hooked on these shows. I never knew how funny they were. Cartman is one crazy kid. He is always starting trouble with everyone & everything. This is a show for adults. If you have kids, I wouldn't recommend this or any other seasons. If you own all of the 10 seasons out there, then you don't want this set because they are all in the 10 seasons. I don't own any of them so I bought this set. It's really funny. From Santa carrying a gun to satanic animals. Some of it is just plain sick. But very funny. It's no wonder that this show was once banned from TV. If you like Family Guy & it's dry humor, you will like this Christmas DVD. If you can't handle bad language then you won't like this or any others.

Good South Park episodes. I wish they would update to include any/all episodes with Santa and Jesus.

Schon als South Park 1997 startete war es eine Weihnachtsfolge, die der Serie (neben Kennys Toden) zu besonderer Berühmtheit verhalf: Mr. Hankey, der Weihnachtskot! Das sympathische Kerlchen war... nun, ich möchte jetzt nicht schreiben "in aller Munde". Er eroberte schnell die Herzen der Fans, sorgte aber bei einigen auch für angeekeltes Wegschalten. Und dann diese Ohrwürmer! Cartmans "Kyle's Mum" Hymne zum Beispiel kann heute wahrscheinlich noch jeder mitsummen.Inzwischen steuert South Park bereits auf sein 20 jähriges Jubiläum zu, aber diese DVD mit sieben Weihnachts-Specials ist immer noch aktuell. Denn leider haben die neueren Staffeln keine besonderen Weihnachts-Specials mehr hervorgebracht. Deshalb kann man problemlos immer noch zuschlagen, wenn man nach einem Best Of für die Feiertage sucht. Die 7 enthaltenen Folgen stammen aus den ersten 8 Staffeln:Mr. Hankey, der WeihnachtskotRohe Weihnachten, Charlie Manson!Halleluja! Mr. Hankeys klassische Weihnachten..und keiner lacht zur Weihnachtsnacht!Weihnachten im Irak: Blut & WunderBlöder die Kanadier nie klingen (a.k.a. Schablonen der Gewalt)Weihnacht im WaldeNatürlich hat jeder andere Favoriten, aber man kann ganz objektiv sagen, dass die Weihnachtsspecial bei South Park normalerweise sehr gut waren. Trey Parker und Matt Stone steckten nach eigenen Angaben mehr Arbeit in sie, als üblich, weil sie das Gefühl hatten, etwas besonderes abliefern zu müssen. "Halleluja! Mr. Hankeys klassische Weihnachten" zum Beispiel besteht komplett aus Songs, die - zumindest im englischen Original - richtig gut gelungen sind. Dazu wurde nicht umsonst ein eigenes Album veröffentlicht.Der Preis der DVD ist für 7 Folgen ein fairer Deal, da haben wir mit "Die Passion des Juden" schon schlimmeres erlebt. Nur auf Bonusmaterial müssen wir leider verzichten. Wer sowieso schon die Staffelboxen im Regal stehen kann, kann sich den Kauf also sparen - man bekommt nichts zusätzliches geboten. Im Vergleich zur amerikanischen Version der DVD gibt es bei uns zusätzlich zur englischen Tonspur noch eine deutsche und spanische. Außerdem Untertitel auf Deutsch, Englisch, Niederländisch und Spanisch. Ein Import lohnt also nicht.Fazit: Ein gelungenes Best Of, das auch heute noch aktuell ist, da sich die Weihnachtsfolgen inzwischen rar machen. Wer bereits die Staffelboxen sammelt, braucht es allerdings nicht.
