Ecozone Magnoball Anti-Limescale Ball

Does it work? Not a clue. Haven't had any issues with our washing machine so let that be a testament! The quality is decent. This recent purchase was a replacement as the last one broke into pieces, which we'd had for a while. I will be buying a second for our dishwasher at some point too. Easy to use - just chuck it in with your washing. No odour from the ball and also not from our machine. Value for money was questionable initially as it's a hard to measure benefit. But as the machine hasn't had any limescale issues and it lasted as long as it did, I suppose it's good value.

I moved to Derby a few years ago, and have been battling limescale ever since. Whilst I have a filter jug for drinking water and have tried out a range of cleaners (Astonish has been AMAZING), I still wanted to try something non-chemical for clothes washes. I noticed that since moving, my washing often felt like it had a sort of residue left on it when it came out of the wash, and giving it an extra rinse didn't seem to make much/any difference. I decided to try this out as it is non-chemical and basically no effort (put in washing machine, done) and I am really impressed with the results. No longer have that residue (wash cycle, washing machine and the softener I use with things like bedding all remain the same - same products same dosage), and washing dries to be much softer since using this ball. I would definitely recommend it if you live in a hard water area, it really has made a difference!

I am just about to order my 2nd Magnoball, since I've been moving mine backwards and forwards from the washing machine to the dishwasher. Overall I am very impressed with it. I have a washing machine which has an accessible filter. This was having to be emptied weekly in my very hard water area, and was absolutely full of limescale every time. Since I got the Magnoball, there is no real evidence of limescale in the filter. With the dishwasher, I've been able to use ecologically-friendly tablets that weren't cleaning very well, and now work so much better. My only gripe with it, and the reason that it is 4 stars not 5, is that it does thump about in the washing machine a bit, so I worry about using it on a half load for fear of it damaging the machine drum.

Effective environmentally friendly way to reduce limescale in your washing machine without resorting to chemicals. Easy to use just put it in the drum with the washing.

I've been happily using this product since january 2014, and I have noticed an improvement in the performance of my dishwasher when the magnoball is in there, and use it with my washing too. However lately it has split into two pieces, which causes problems as it sticks to the inside of the washer and the two pieces are harder to find, also I'm not sure if its as effective. Due to this I have contacted ecozone due to it still being within the 5 year manufacturers guarantee period, to see if I can get a replacement. To do this, I need to return the item to them by post (the costs of postage to be covered by myself) with a printed copy of the reciept and my personal details. They will then send me a new magnoball and I've been told (after mentioning the cost of postage) that I could be sent something to cover the costs of postage (not cash, but a product). This is ok although a palava, I do wonder if the process would have been simpler if I had purchased the item from a store where I could perhaps be given a replacement there and then. Something to consider!

As expected

So we have one of these in our dishwasher and one in our washing machine. The washing machine lasted about 4 years before it started looking tired. The machines themselves seem ok, no noticeable issues with them. But the only "real" way to know would be to take the machine to bits to find out how much limescale is in there. My sister swears by them so I converted to them. Who knows how well they work, but I am now on my second set..

Per il costo di questo oggetto, nonché per il suo reale utilizzo non credevo potesse giovare alla mia lavatrice (premetto che è un po' vecchiotta e trovavo pezzettini di calcare sui capi appena lavati). Ho deciso, quindi, proprio per il prezzo irrisorio di provare e mi sono ricreduta. Facile da usare, basta semplicemente inserirla nella lavatrice (presumo anche nella lavastoviglie), fa il suo dovere e si nota immediatamente la differenza. Lo consiglio

Grandes resultados! Muy a menudo la lavadora dejó las manchas de piedra caliza en las prendas y con este producto sale perfecto cada lavado. Las manchas han desaparecido. Seguro que volveré a comprar esta bola antical.

This item I put in my dishwasher to get hard water lime out it. Wish I had a before and after picture, did an amazing job.
