AMAZING PRODUCT - FINALLY, I'M UP ON TIME!!!!
I am a very light sleeper and the only way I can sleep is by using earplugs that block out most noise - obviously the problem is that it also blocks out most of the alarm clocks I use, including loud twin bell alarm clocks. Also, since I started taking blood pressure medication, I found that I have been sleeping much deeper and have a lot of problems waking up. Then someone recommended this alarm clock, and honestly, best purchase I've made this year. I know it's enough to wake the dead it's so loud, but it has me up on time and that is all I wanted. I actually didn't even need to use the bed shaker, but just grateful to have found something that finally wakes me up and is super loud - so very happy with the product and features. Took some adjusting to find the right volume for the buzzer, but there are different buzzer options, and you can dim the clock also, which I found useful - I have it on the lowest setting so the glare doesn't bother me in the night.

This little bomb does the trick!
This is a very effective and versatile alarm clock! I have long term insomnia, and am a bit hard of hearing - bad combination when I fall into a deep sleep just as it is time to get up. I sleep through alarm clocks - it's what I do, it's what I'm good at - but I have met my match with this little bomb.It provides three forms of effective stimulus to get you out of deep slumber and on your feet - the bed-shaker, the siren and the flashing lights. The bed-shaker is an alarm in its own right - it makes a buzzing noise as well as a powerful shaking. For me, this is the best part of the alarm. You can put the attachment under your mattress or under your pillow. I find having it under my pillow most effective, as I can hear it buzz as well as being shaken awake. The attachment is on a cord which is about 1.6m long to give flexibility for placement. The siren, when on full volume, is sure to attract an asbo if used daily! Even though I am hard of hearing, I have turned the volume down by half. You can adjust the pitch of the siren as well as the volume, which is good for creating variation. When it goes off - beware of any pets sleeping on your bed - they will cling to the ceiling for the first few days until they get used to it!Finally, the flashing red lights -this is helpful in a darkened room as an extra stimulus. I agree with another reviewer that the off button could benefit from being larger and perhaps more prominent to make it easier to switch off - but, it is part of the waking process - trying to come-to as quick as possible to find the button and shut it up!I have never slept through this alarm, and have never needed to use the snooze function. It achieves its aim by getting me awake, alert and on my feet very quickly. Excellent purchase!

Amazing Product
BEfore buying this product I checked the product reviews to make sure everything was in order and found a few people were having problems keeping the time, I clicked on the comments page for one of these reviews and found that the cure is to set the thing on the back to 50Hz (if you are in the UK) as it's time-keeping comes from the electricity in the house (you plug it into the wall) and you have to set the thing on the back in accordance to the homes electric (UK = 50Hz)whereas setting this to 60Hz would mean the homes electric and the alarm clock settings didn't match (you'll understand what I mean when you buy this item.Anyway it's very loud and is guarenteed to wake you up, I wasn't sure what to expect from the vibrating attachment but was impressed, it vibrates furiously and if placed under your pillow is guarenteed to wake you, the volume of the thing and the vibration together is definately something you'll wake upto. It's easy to set time and alarm, easy to use the volume etc. I just want to say now this product does not require batteries, there is a slot for a 9V battery but it is not required, as I've said this alarm is powered by the homes electricity all the battery is for is a backup so if the homes electric cuts out or whatever then the alarm will be able to keep track of time, according to the instructions even if the electric was to cut out then the LED screen wouldn't show it would just keep time, if you ask me it's better just giving the battery a miss and re-setting the time when needing to (when unplugged or electricity cuts out)

very good. best alarm clock I have ever had
very good. best alarm clock I have ever had.it has 2 alarm settings, for different times, to be woken up.more, would give them 5 stars.I like the vibrate function, which wakes me, even after only a couple of hours sleep.so effective. but without waking the household. this is very, very good.also good for people with impaired hearing.it also has flashing lights & a audible alarm.you can choose vibrate or audible, or both.for audible, you can adjust the volume & tone.you can also adjust the brightness of the clock display.it looks cheap, (plastic), but is highly functional.the vibrate mode does make some noise, on its own, when vibrating.but no problems with that.it goes under the mattress & my clock is out of reach, just past the bottom of my bed (by choice)to avoid the snooze temptation :)so I have to get up, to turn it off.& once up, it has done it's job.
