Greatest Hits of Broadway

I got this for my mother, and she really enjoyed it. She listens to it in her car on road trips. She doesn't know how to use an mp3 player or a smartphone and she doesn't really care for modern music (item: I prefer CDs of old music as well).

This keeps me going at work. It keeps other noise distractions down and I concentrate better.Sometimes I even sing along.

More of the classics of the Broadway stage. I am putting 4 stars on everything today but the albums/CD's are really better than that and deserve 5 stars except I want to stay "conservative."

Aloha! I am the House Manager for a world class performing arts center in Maui. We play music at the center for the enjoyment of patrons eating in our courtyard prior to an event. I try to play music related to the performance. This was a great mix that complimented the Maui Pops Orchestra presentation of Broadway. Very enjoyable and classic.

I love all the Broadway songs! Knew the words to them all!!!!!

I gave this cd to my niece, for Christmas, when she was going through her, "I'm SOOO into Broadway musicals" phase (she was 15 & constantly changing her opinions based on those of her peers). Not only does it contain some of the most essential showtunes of all time, it's very reasonably priced (so I didn't feel like I had lost much money when she lost interest a short time later).

Wanted to have a CD that would encompass early to current. I felt that the compilation picked mostly secondary hits songs, not ones that jogged your memory of that particular musical. Felt the "Broadway: The American Musicals was far better in its selections. I mean it went back to Al Jolson! Very disappoint in the Greatest Hits of Broadway album.
