Shimmer Lights Conditioner, Blonge and Silver 473 ml/16 oz

the stuff inside the bottle is the same colour as the label, a dark purplish-blue! which is great!I'm very pleased with this product, which i didn't expect! yes it's a little bit pricey. i'm not known for spending a tenner on a bottle of conditioner! even a bottle this size! so i was gambling a bit here.this stuff acts like a toner!my process: i bleached my roots to a pale yellowish colour, then i washed my hair with touch of silver shampoo. After that I conditioned my hair with vatika (because of the protein, which you need after bleaching,) i also mixed up my own concoction using olive oil, various nut oils and egg. this works well for me. anyway, it took me a few days to research a good toner/conditioner, then when i found it (this one) i had to wait for it to be delivered, so in the mean time i conditioned my hair as i would normally. i also did one application of directions toner, i left that on my hair for 4 hours, it made my hair a TINY BIT lighter. not overly impressive. i was only bleaching my roots of course (about an inch of hair) and i wanted to go from black to platinum so i can get a vibrant colour when i dye over it!So, when i finally got this stuff, i put it all over my hair and left it for 4 hours, resulting in a weird whitish, bluish, pale blonde gradient throughout my hair! I think this only happened because some areas were more porous than others and i wasn't careful enough! but my roots were pretty good. But i wanted it lighter, so the next day i decided to put this stuff ONLY on my roots for and hour and a half.when i washed it out, i shampooed, rinsed and conditioned (VO5 conditioner) A LOT! i repeated these steps about 3 times. i was in the shower washing this stuff out thoroughly with the intention that i could MAYBE wash out some of the weird tints! it worked! my hair is very pale blonde and white in some areas! the roots are perfect.All that took about a week and a half. i'm impatient. i intend to dye over it tomorrow (hence why the strange colour mixtures in my hair don't bother me too much.)I highly recommend this product.

Ok so the conditioner doesnt leave your hair very easy to comb through, but its worth the effort because once its dry its phenomenal. Soft and beautifully conditioned which was a surprise after the initial tangles. Colour and shine were absolutely wow. I have very warm tones to my normal colour and have highlights that only too readily go brassy. This certainly puts them back to how they should be (together with the shampoo) I wouldnt go out of my way to buy a perfume that smelt like this, but its tolerable and not exactly unpleasant.All in all it does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. You cant say fairer than that. (No pun intended)

I usually use Clairol conditioner and as this sounded ideal I treated myself. But I was so disappointed as, having fine hair it left my hair quite sticky despite not using much and I had to start again but my hair was not as soft as my usual conditioner. For me it doesn't suit my hair type.

I bought this because I’ve been trying to do the “curly girl method” and curlscan said this was a safe product. If I’m honest, though, my hair doesn’t feel conditioned when I use it, my hair feels really dry, and I have to use a LOT—more than I normally use to condition. Also, the whole ‘neutralising brassy blonde tones’ thing has tinted my hair noticeably purple. Kind of disappointed by this, honestly.

If you can get over the slightly funky smell, this product is a must have if you use the shampoo.

The bottle came with the lid open a third of the bottle had leaked out!

I bought this because I needed a violet conditioner with no silicones in. This had great reviews and I agree it lives up to its reputation. I have used this twice now after bleaching, and it has massively improved the yellowness (see my first photo compared to the other!)The first time I left it on for only 5 minutes and not much happened, but today I left it for 10-15 and wooow!! No yellowness at all. There were 1 or two curls which had a violet hue but I just rinsed these out. It is quite moisturising for regular hair however if you're curly and need more moisture than most, then I recommend mixing this with some of your regular conditioner. However this does have a lot of slip so you might not need a lot. Overall a great product and the bottle is massive.

Tones down my orange ends (I'm growing out to my natural silver grey after years of using henna) and brightens up the silvers. Brilliant product :)
