The parcel arrived quickly which was great. The scale is very compact, fits well in the bathroom and is easy to operate. However, the instructions are not as easy to understand because they do not come with diagrams. So, you do need to pay attention to the instructions carefully. Functionality and readability very good.

We've used this for months and it's going strong. It's consistent, which is the most important thing, though it shows a higher fat percentage than the scales at Boots (not sure which is more accurate!). It also looks elegant in the bathroom and the price means it's great value, too.

I've had the scales for about two weeks now and I'm delighted with the product. Following the steps in the instruction manual, personal information is easy to set up. The scales weight was displaying in Kg so following the steps under the heading Initializing Your Scale I expected to easily change the weight reading to lbs or st:lbs (Initializing Your Scale, step 3), however my scales remained displaying weight in Kg. Contacting customer support, they reiterated everything about Initializing your scale which was a bit pointless but mentioned a button labelled UNIT on the bottom of the scales to the left of the battery compartment. So putting a small pressure on the scales to switch on the display, pressing the UNIT button changed the weight reading from Kg to lbs, st:lbs and back to Kg. Bingo problem solved. I could not find any mention of the UNIT button on the Instruction Manual so I downloaded the pdf version to make sure I had not missed the UNIT button scanning the written document and no I had not. Had it not been for the misleading information in the Instruction Manual I would have given this product a five star rating but in the circumstance I can only give this product four stars.

Works really well

Good item, great price. The only downside is that it's not super easy to switch between units of weight, other than that they do the job!

Despite the claims of being so technically informative with BMI, hydration level and fat content - it is too tiresome to follow the numbers flashing up. Having done some family/personal orientated comparisons the re is no way I can trust the body fat value. Not only does this not make sense when comparing within the family, it also varies considerably if the same person measures their value repeatedly over a short period of time. I have trouble getting our height added to the memory as the default was metric, but the value is calculated from a converted imperial value . It would be more accurate to add imperial in the first place. If you want a straight forward weight, then you just step on. If you want the other values, then you need to select yourself from the scale's memory - step on - then memorise for yourself your weight, a few seconds later body fat, few seconds later hydration level , then few seconds later your BMI - and then quickly write them down before you forget.......Consequently, it seemed better to just focus on one value such as body fat as a health marker - however finding the value fluctuated so much I lost confidence in its reliability.

I was looking for a cheap digital scale as I haven't owned one in many years but I have just started a new fitness regime and I needed to check my weight. I was expecting a basic scale but these also check your BMI, body fat percentage etc. For a cheap set of scales these are fantastic.

Smart looking scales and easy to use. Furthermore, it was easy to program my personal details: gender, age and height. Although the sale of this product included batteries, the batteries included were almost dead, so I had to insert my own, new batteries. For that reason - 4 stars, instead of 5.
