Just amazing
So yesterday my earpads broke and i bought these. I thought 20 pound thats better than buying the headset all over again.I watched a video on youtube of how to replace it and read the comments. Quick tip. Use a hair dryer to soften the edges of the pad ( the part that goes around to keep it in place) And then fold it up onto the actual ear pads themself. This makes it easier to attach it as you just need to fold it over instead of trying to hook it all the way around. Not sure if that was clear or not. Just either way. Super comfy and great value. Easy to replace also

Sounds like new instead of sounding like beats studio 2.
the packaging is easy to remove as all I had to do was remove the black cardboard on the packet and I was able to get the bads out. The headphone pads are easy to replace. the only thing I would tell people to be aware of is that after removing the clamping rings for the foam on the headphones, the driver may move around a bit. If it happens to you make sure to slot it back in place correctly and then put the new black foam back in and then just clamp it in with the clamping ring. Befor it sounded like a pair of beats studio 2 because the old black foam inside was dirty. It now sounds like they came out of the box. These replacement pads are 💯 serti.

Buy them once, benefit from them for years and years.
Why do IA...already own 4pairs of dt770 velour earpads ANDB...why am I about to buy two MORE pairs? In an idle moment,I've just read all the reviews for these pads.I'm getting 2new pairs so I've got replacements for years to come. The trick,is to wash them in a bowl or pan after about 30-40hrs use (depending on how sweaty you are,and how humid the air is)as follows: a capfull of standard clothes wash goo!Twenty minutes sitting in very warm (NOT HOT) water...scrub them together and rinse 3-4times...leave on a coat hanger to air dry. While those are in the pan,fit a fresh pair...on your phones notebook, note the date of the replacement. All music, but esp.orchestral,is lifted instantly!!!It's transformed.Because your pads are crisp, clean, fresh. That's why I've got 3pairs and two more on the way.Years and years of benefit =these pads are NOTexpensive...You pay once...and you're repaid over and overKevin

They're BeyerDynamic originals and feel great.
Switching from the leatherette pads supplied originally to these was easy enough. The comfort levels are improved.Sonically there are two main differences. Firstly, there is less physical noise since the felt pads are softer and when they're on your ears they don't make a sound. Secondly, I perceived marginally less bass, which is in line with other people's experiences.Overall, for long wearing periods, these pads are best. I found that I had adapted to any difference in sound after a very short time.

Great fit
So after far too long of having poor fit because of old pads I got these ones and the fit perfectly and my headphones feel brand new

Awkward To Fit..... But Worth It
Maybe I'm just more ham-fisted and awkward than the other reviewers here, but I found these frustratingly fiddly to fit and, I must admit, I almost gave up. I'm sure a child, or simply someone with a little more dexterity (and patience!) than I seem to possess, would have had them on in a couple of minutes, but it took me a while - with much cursing and swearing - to get there.Once on, they're excellent. When I put the headphones (DT 770s) on after finally getting the new pads fitted, I realised the original pads had collapsed more than I'd thought - it felt like putting on a brand new pair. Similarly, because it had happened gradually, I hadn't realised how badly the collapsed and clogged pads had affected the sound quality, as I noticed a considerable improvement immediately. It seems the new pads have restored the headphones to their original performance, therefore were well worth buying, and recommending. But if you're like me - knocking on a bit, fingers like sausages, and short-tempered - ask someone else to fit them for you!

Well worth the effort
They are a little fiddly to fit, but not too bad really. The thing to be careful of is when you try and remove the circular ring that holds in the inner foam lining. Dont use anything sharp, whatever you do because you could damage the diaphragm and wreck the headphones, which would not be cheap to replace. But these are well worth getting and well worth doing periodically to keep a good investment in a quality pair of headphones going. Mine are about 10 years old and are still going great guns...
