Great quality aquastop hose connector. Easy to install, just making sure the hose is fully inserted before tightening the locknut, it minimise chance of any slight leaks. Hose strain relief collar is a good addition, and rubber grip pads on either side of main body makes removing attachment from the adapter super easy, even with wet hands.

Easy to fit, I hope these will last as long as my existing hozelock connectors - which must be at least 10 years old.

When it comes to hosepipe connectors, I have learnt to my cost that it doesn't pay to go for low cost alternatives. I prefer Hozelock or Gardena connectors. They don't leak or drip and importantly, they don't pop off at random soaking everything! Also, if carefully stored over winter with a squirt of WD40, they work for years. I have fitted this premium connector on the end of a new hose extension I use for washing our cars. The auto-stop feature means I can swap between a brush attachment and a spray gun without any mess or the need to walk back to the garden tap. It is all plastic but it's good quality and this premium version has an improved grip of the hosepipe when compared with standard connectors. I am expecting many years faithful service. No complaints!! 😁👌😁

This connector fixes all the usual hose faff. It clicks in securely, doesn’t leak at the joint, and the Aquastop actually works – no geyser effect when you disconnect. Soft grip makes it easy to use with wet hands or gloves, and it hasn’t cracked even after several enthusiastic hosepipe battles. Feels like a proper upgrade from the flimsy plastic ones. Bisher tropfte die Verbindung des Schlauches zur Pistole von Hozelock bei jeder Bewegung. Habe schon viele andere Schlauchkupplungen probiert und immer das gleiche sabbern, weil sämtliche Kupplungen gegen das Gehäuse der Pistole stossen und vorn ca. 1-2 mm zu lang sind. Damit ist die Verbindung instabil. Jetzt ist dieses Problem endlich beseitigt. Also für ein System doch lieber beim gleichen Hersteller bleiben.
